First of all, chad IS NOT RIONA BF...

Now... We know that Quinn is a dominant character, she never asks, only commands. And Riona is somehow oppositive of that and they know each other since kids it's that type of relationship they have since.

Take one scene as an example: Maya's room, when Josy insults her and she steps forward and commands respect and never flinch, and then immediately told Maya what to do.

She didn't ask permission to enter the room or ask Maya if she can or want to go. And this is the case all the time with Quinn. Now look at the image:

First of all and on a side note, Josy it's the most likely to antagonize Quinn in this game. And she is in charge of that relationship with Maya.

You can see that she didn't let any of the things that Josy said affect her (or at least let her know) and immediately rule her out, the other thing you can see in this picture its the attitude of the 3 girls.

Flinching, looking away or backing down it's an evolutionary trait for weakness, that's why some animals lower her heads to those in charge, and it's said that in a dangerous situation with wild animals the best thing to do it's to stare them to let them know you are not afraid or lower your view in other cases to let them know you're not a threat. And some animals chase you if you try to run, even dogs.

You know that Maya is the weakest of the three here, she is looking at Quinn almost on fear and with her arms covering her body another signal of weakness, Josy, on the other hand, is not but she put in a situation similar since she asking for something. And the next thing Quinn does again, tell Maya what to do and immediately turns back knowing that Maya will do as she said.

And Riona has nothing to do with Chad

There are many situations where Quinn doesn't like to be told or do something against her will, like when you move her hand at the end of the cumpetition or when you try to kiss her for example. Or the fact that Chad isn't Riona's boyfriend.

Now that we establish who is Quinn and why we all like her (we don't have a choice) let's go with Riona, that little innocent cute adorable beautiful puppy. Who happen not to be Chad's gf.

Riona is, in fact, subservient to her, we don't know why but it's not just to her it's her attitude, she rarely makes eye contact and many times looks away, the moment she tried to defy Quinn she immediately put her in place (like it or not) and then reassure her control with the kiss, pretty much when a dog does something bad and you hit him to let them know what he did was wrong and then go and pet him (hitting animals is wrong) this is the kind of relationship they have build and for now they are fine with it I guess, that's something that we will know in the future.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it or giving DPC too much credit (I hope not) but you can see that the characters are well build and that the way they react to situations is normal to their behavior.

And I don't know if I mention this, but just to make sure, RIONA IS NOT GAYCHAD LOVER!!

More Jill for me, so yes. If it's worse than Maya and Josy's drama; even better for me. Im not the Jill fan who wants easy perfection for her so everyone ends up loving her, nor am I the one that will try to recruit or convert haters.

I already did my part in an attempt to stop him, but only because he is high up on the Jill brotherhood. It's not something I will keep doing though. I've boosted his will, but he has to take it from here. I have faith in him. If he walks out those doors of the Jill temple it'll be one less to compete with. I won't stop him that will just mean the Mayans have one more coming to claim their woman instead of mine.

If Chad is gay, I not understand why he don't tell anything to Sage and that he love her like a friend. I am sure that she would keep the secret and understand the situation(if he wished that no one know about him, of course).

I think you are severely underestimating just how much homosexuality is ostracized against, especially in "jock" circles, where you often have to be as aggressively "alpha male" as to become an outright parody of one.

Troy and Chad being gay makes a lot of sense. Assuming Troy somehow got found out separately from Chad, it would explain why he got kicked out of jocks (and why, despite all the gossip going around, it's not public knowledge). It would explain why Chad is being outright terrified of somebody knowing he is also gay.

As to Chad and Sage - Chad might as well have used Sage before knowing much about her personality. As others mentioned, top jock + top "cheerleader" is expected, and not just excellent cover for Char (from his point of view, anyway), but also mark of status. Nobody would expect him to be gay if he was involved with Sage.

Even if he felt safe confessing to her later on, then you run into what is hinted as Sage's trait of living up to the "hotheaded redhead" trope at even just a suspicion of betrayal. "Birdwatching," right?

Even after all that we, as players, know about her, I wouldn't dismiss the very real possibility that she would completely flip her lid if Chad, after initially deceiving her in this manner, would come out clean. That possibility alone, coupled with his reliance on athletic scholarship (remember the talk during the disciplinary meeting?), makes it absolutely plausible that he'd just not think it safe enough to let anyone know, period, and rather suffer unhappy relationship with Sage instead. Especially looking at the example of Troy, if he somehow got caught and already paid the price of the same intolerance of his sexual preference.

It'd wrap up quite a few unresolved details of the story, though the big one still remains - who is working behind the curtain pulling the strings of, at the very least, Chad and Quinn.

I’m ok with prostitution in principle but at the end of the day she’s the kinda pimp of teenage girls who has no issue enforcing her will by being physical with them.

For me, among other issues there's also the fact that while Quinn might be rationalizing she's doing it "for the girls," (there's no indication that she's stiffling the ones who joined for the "free* tuition," the scenes with Riona rather strongly suggest she's on a power trip. Which is all that more likely considering how Quinn always needs to be in control and dominating.

Also, it's kind of a loopy logic there: "I'm helping future professionals by goading them into illegal prostitution that, at any moment, may or may not completely destroy their chance at finishing education, much less professional future." Why not just make a deal with the owner of the strip club, especially if, by estimation of the DIKs during March of Rejects scene, Lilly is making crapton of money ("college will be cheap for her") and somehow being a known stripper doesn't seem to affect her chances of attending college at all.

Sure seems to beat serving unknown (and not exactly flush with money) college students through a gloryhole.

Lastly, without even knowing what Quinn has in store for Sage, the fact that she's just matter-of-factly declaring her intention to "use Sage" (and Riona, sadly, seems to have no issues with that, either), does not paint a pretty picture.

That'd be a... curious project.

To me, Josy came out as "two can play that game" when she did that "oh, by the way, I'm Tommy's step-sister" thing. Though it's highly questionable whether or not Josy is truly aware just what she's getting herself into. I doubt it.

Yeah, I don't think anybody can genuinely argue that Quinn is anything but intensely dominant and prefers to be in control, period.

I think Riona is just somebody too laid back/lazy/indifferent (or just perpetually stoned) to care unless the situation truly demands it. She does not hesitate to voice her objections, and, to me, does not really so much fold after the slap as basically backs down to deescalate. Kind of a "you haven't convinced me, but I'll let you do your thing" feel to it.

I wouldn't be surprised to see her do a major number on Quinn if/when the two really get in a situation trully putting them at odds. If only because, by their association, she's probably the only person to know exactly who Quinn is as a person.

And I am not so sure the opposite is true, if Riona has always been showing just this mainly passive side of her.

Completely aside, you know you hit a gem of a fiction when you spend your days considering all the little possibilities and hidden details.

IF HAPPEN TO BE A GIRL, my cards right now are with Heather, that's something really really dangerous that could make the story really rich. I remember before EP3 ending, I was 100% sure that Maya was that girl, because of all that secretism around her.

But if not Heather and let's drop this bomb here, what if... she is not in B&R but we know her... what if Chad's girl is no other than Z O E Y!!! What a twist???

Seriously though the Zoey twist would be crazy. But I really think Chad is actually gay and could be with Troy . Could make sense with how he doesn't seem to have any attraction to Sage. Heather seems to care a lot for Tommy so I don't think it works with her.

Was mention in the game why Troy was kicked? Maybe they found something and Chad was forced to keep appearances, who knows.
