IF HAPPEN TO BE A GIRL, my cards right now are with Heather, that's something really really dangerous that could make the story really rich.

I'm getting a serious "Chekov's girl" vibe from Heather.

She's high up in HOTs hierarchy, has access to DIK's house through Tommy (the same guy Quinn needs to have control of while scheming with), and is involved in Quinn's business without being shown as "goods." I wouldn't put it past Quinn to set her up to be Tommy's handler, though Heather does seem to care about Tommy if we go by the "post-laptop" exchange. Unless she only cares for her place in Quinn's enterprise (and, possibly, access to whatever drugs she gets that way), and that is leveraged by her placement with Tommy. In which case her concern might be for losing priviledged status if Tommy went down with Rusty, too...

You get very attached to the characters given how good the writing is when Dr pink cake is involved but if you want pure eye candy check out city of broken dreamers. It is by far the most technically eye pleasing VN game you will find from almost every aspect. Plus it also has a great story , think of it like a noir deus ex but with lots of sex and oh yeah the moody soundtrack it uses also pulls you in even more to the setting

On another note, does anybody have any working ideas why, assuming Troy+Chad pairing, Troy would end up with a black eye and Sage with MC's guitar?

According to Troy, there was more than one person present (IIRC, he said "they took it, there was nothing I could do"). So... Chad and Quinn? But if Chad was in relationship with Troy, why would he hit somebody who already got made, and also has such heavy dirt on Chad himself?

Something in that situation just doesn't vibe that well, and I'm curious if I'm overlooking some plausible explanation tying it all.

I guess it could've been Chad and Dawe, and either Dawe hit Troy, or Chad did it to keep Dawe in the dark? Still doesn't really explain why anybody would take Troy's roommate's guitar like that, though.
