So, another thing I've been thinking about with the whole Josy/Maya thing (sorry Mormont), is that choosing to stay with them feels like a false happy ending for this portion of their relationship story. Sure, they all get together and it feels good because the MC hasn't lost them and there's the prospect of them all having a fulfilling, if unconventional, relationship, but that third-wheel complex still lingers. The frankly quick and easy way they literally kissed and made up honestly felt kinda sucky because it basically boiled down to:

MC: I fucked Josy and almost fucked Maya:
Maya: Is that true?
Josy: Yeah. And you?
Maya: Yep, but I'm not mad
Josy: Neither am I. Also, I still love you.
Maya: Me too.
*kiss*
Maya & Josy: Oh, MC, you're still here.

I get that this kind of thing happens in real life, where two people who love each other can have a moment where they're able to just to block out the world, but it still feels a bit out of place in this scenario. It makes it seem like their feelings for the MC were nothing because they so easily fell back into each others arms, but throughout the game it never felt like that from either of them, especially Maya, so this kind of goes against the grain. Having them not kiss and make up so easily might have been the better way to go because I can't see how a mutual cheating revelation can get their relationship back to full strength. I feel that them not knowing what to feel or what to do would have been better so that they have to try to rebuild their relationship, either with or without the MC. This would at least give the MC a better fighting chance to have and keep both of them, or at the very least get one of them if Maya & Josy can't move past their issues.

It's like, if there was a love scale where 1 = physical attraction and 10 = totally in love, Maya and Josy were probably about an 8 before their relationship got rocky and then it dropped to about a 3 or 4. With the MC, each of them got to about the same level with him, 3 or 4, by the time of the shock reveal. But then, when they get back together, it shoots back up to an 8, putting the MC at a disadvantage, when it would've been better to stay at that lower level so that the MC was more on a level footing should he choose to go for a threeway relationship. This way, Maya and Josy would have to rebuiild their relationship at the same time as building one with the MC and they would then progress at the same levele rather than have the MC playing catch-up.

It being such a quick and easy fix this early into the story has me entirely convinced the Maya/Josy relationship is going to explode. The plot for them wont be like the other girls where a relationship forms and matures, it will be a relationship exploding and the ending will be born of filtering through the wreckage. None of the other main LI are a fraction as far along (relationship wise) as Maya/Josy/MC. They're currently at the point most VN's end with the MC in bed with his harem.

It failing would make it a unique route. All the main LI have a very distinct "type" of a relationship story wise. DPC has been clever to diversify his girls and their motivations. Maya/Josy being a failing relationship would make it stand out as distinctly as Bella being confused about her feelings or Sage being so defensive and trying to keep it casual. It would also be simple enough to write and be interesting. Who wants 16 episodes of Maya/Josy just being in love if you're just their friend? They can implode regardless of the MC being involved, sure it will take a lot of alternative scenes with them to account for the MC being either a friend or a part of it but Maya/Josy can fall out over this regardless of the MC being a third wheel and it would make for an interesting drama fuelled story and it also primes them to be separated and let you choose between them. Easy to make solo routes if they're not together.

At the end of the day, DPC has said he might go as high as 20 episodes. It's waaaaay to early for a happy ending. I think this resolution was just priming Maya/Josy to be a drama filled clusterfuck.

Well said. Maya/Josy's route is gonna be a cluster fuck of drama compared to the other girls.

Now that you mention it, I'm really interested to see how their drama will unfold while your in their relationship versus just being friends. It's safe to assume that their drama won't hit you as hard if you're just friends with them but there's a chance the game will force MC to get involved with those regardless of how much some players might dislike.

It looks to me like Maya and Josy's relationship is doomed to fail with or without the MC. They initially used him separately just to make them "feel better" about themselves. He was too naive about girls to see it but he is learning really fast on the campus. If you choose the 3 way relationship, it appears they are now aware that he is very popular on campus and think they can use him to get them into the HOT's. Their plan to cheat the scavenger hunt won't fly with Quinn. She is way too smart and will catch them. She can then black mail both of them and force them into her "loose hips get tips" crew to help fund the HOT sorority. That is what she has planned for both of them anyway. Josy might be up for it but it appears that it will be a problem for Maya. This might be the final nail in the J and M chick mance. If they then start a fight over the MC well gee, he's got pussy coming at him from every direction, LOL. He doesn't need their trouble. Cathy is in serious need of some dick though which is pretty obvious. Somebody needs to give her a proper bang bang. MC has been recommended for VIP status at the Pink Rose too. That could make for some exciting encounters. Josy seemed open to becoming a stripper. Jeez, if I were trying to write the continuation for this story it would be really hard to decide which directions to go with all of it. There are so many options.

I didnt know that Sarah was also in someone else S tier list, apart from mine.

Crazy to think about that, she is less than a secondary character, she is like a cameo characters, we have only like 3 scenes with her, and still, the girl Stands out.
I chose her has the Girl with the best ass in Sage's interrogatory, even if her ass isnt the best, i just want to include her in my playthrough as much as i can.
I dont know what atracts me so much about her, maybe the eyebrows, the big eyes, the strong facial bone structure, pale skin, long legs, that Emma Watson + Keira Knightley look.

It could certainly be filled drama, yes, and there's definitely a path for the MC to become romantically involved with one or both of them if you choose to just be friends, but I don't know if I'd go so far as saying it's destined to fail.

Yes, it does seem to have been resolved quite quickly, but I put that down to their shared feelings for the MC. Essentially, Maya and Josy aren't mad at each other because they not only understand how much they hurt one another but can also understand why they did what they did with the MC because they both feel the same way about him. They both fell for the same guy and for the exact same reasons, so it makes it easier to forgive each other when they're feeling the same things.

Any drama in the threeway relationship is likely to be caused by outside factors, like Tommy and Quinn, as well the MC's continued relationships with other women. Tommy's not likely going to be happy to find out that not only is his maggot son dating his step-sister, but that his step-sister is also dating a girl, and Quinn being a total wildcard and certified bad-bitch could try to sabotage their relationship for shits and giggles, or try to blackmail them into doing things for her because they'll undoubtedly want to keep it a secret. But it could also be affected by the MC continuing to see Jill, Bella, and Sage as this could cause jealousy and hurt feelings with Josy and Maya if they feel that he isn't as committed to their relationship as they thought he was (as ironic as that would be), or it could lead to Josy and Maya getting much closer because the MC isn't around all the time and whatever feelings they had for him disappear and they realise they don't miss want him as much as they first thought.

As for the friend-zoning path, I certainly can't see it being the case that the MC will never have any more interactions with Josy and Maya beyond seeing them in class and at parties. I could definitely see them struggle with what they're being asked to do by the HOTs, not just with the scavenger hunt but in general, and that they would come to the MC for help, which could certainly lead to some sexy fun time, even though he said he just wanted to be friends. I can also see this struggle with the HOTs leading to more fighting and arguments that draw one or both of them back into the arms of the MC, and that this will either lead to a second chance at the threesome route or individual routes for Josy and Maya.

As for the idea that this game could have 20 episodes, I admire the ambition and sheer amount of planning and dedication that would be required of DPC for that, but think about long that would be before this game is done. If each episode takes 4 months at the least, then starting from the last update in January, that would mean the game would be completed in roughly 5 years and 4 months (May 2025). If each update takes 5 months, then that would be 6 years and 8 months (September 2026). That seems a little excessive to me, not to mention torturous on both the the dev and the players and maybe an 8 episode limit like Acting Lessons would be less strenuous for everyone.
