guys can you update v0.4.1/0.4.2 (compressed version) to the latest episode 5 using the official patch??
You need CHICK affinity which means that you have to make major CHICK decisions. There are 7 major choices in ep.1-4, but one is after the date. If you want to be safe, use 6 CHICK : 0 DIK, but you can also try 5:1 or 4:2. (3:3 is neutral.)
Major (DIK) Choices :
ep.1 - Beat up Troy
ep.1 - Get the number of Quinn's restaurant
ep.2 - Mini-mart : Ignore Steve
ep.2 - Gym : Fight the Jocks (enables Caleb below)
ep.3 - The Pink Rose : Party without limits
ep.3 - Gender Studies (Jade) : Take it further
ep.4 - Roof : Smoke weed
ep.5 - Fight Caleb (requires : Fight the Jocks above)
ep.5 - Hit Tybalt
okay so heres my rant.hopefully these game developers will see this.
great game,fun engaging story line however this bullshit of either being a complete pussy or a dickhead doesn't make the game enjoyable... Knowing your choices could mean you miss out of some scenes...ITS JUST STUPID!
do you see ps,pc,xbox games offering a story line where you will miss half the scenes?no.talking about real games not these adult sex games
these games should be more engaging and be just that...a GAME.. have challenges like brawler or something on the keyboard to do too unlock a sex scene rather than hoping you might get a scene based on past choices.

It's not. It's based on your Chick/Dik points but it's not a decision, rather influenced by how you played so far.

Yes. It is called branching choices. Very common in games with RPG elements or heavy dialogue storyline.
Giving both the ilusion of choice and consequence and increasing the replay factor of said games.
You need to play more games other than pew pew shooters if you never heard of this before.
It is for the DIK/CHICK meter. Sometimes even i confused each other.

I feel sad for having missed all the Cathy phone flirting in my first play through. I hope this doesn't mean she is forever locked. That would suck. I still drove her to her home and comforted her but I still have the feeling I fucked it up :/

my point is the chick or dick stats is pointless and a hindrance of this game knowing its the very reason you are missing scenes
No, it is the first event where affinity matters :
You need neutral or DIK affinity to wear the helmet.
You need neutral or CHICK affinity to NOT wear the helmet.

But you don't have to be DICK or CHICK. Playing NEUTRAL path is completely legitimate (my canonic path).
You have to look at it from the opposite side, BaDIK is a game you can play more than once and with a different style (see affinity) you get different scenes.
There, affinity influenced which choice you could choose, not the other way around.

This is a way of making games not a "personal opinion". You not believing on it doesn't make it go away.
And yes people do replay this types of games a lot, including sex games. A glance at this thread will tell you that much.
a glance at this thread and i can see the chick or dick stats is a problem..EVERYONE askes for help on almost every page of the thread.
In ren'py games you can skip forward all the seen content by holding the CTRL-key. This makes it a lot faster to "replay" the game to go for alternative decisions and missed scenes. (Unfortunately most updates fuck up the persistent file, so after an update the skipping may not work until you have played through the game once more.)
I don't think so. Him being a former jock and everything... Seems like too much setup for a small thing like that.
You fucked up, yeah. And considering it will be years until the game is finished I wouldn't wait to replay it if I really wanted to.

Okay, this isn't in the walkthrough and I haven't seen anyone explain this in this thread:
Episode four, the first free-roam even is in Derek's Dorm apparently. Still not sure who his roommate is. The walkthrough says Magmar, but I thought it was some other nerd.
Okay, so there's two sets of drawers. One is Derek's and has his cute inflatable floaty that you pose with. The second is his roommates, and the top drawer says something like, "I think there's something behind the drawer, I heard something move when I opened the drawer."
On the roommate's desk is a weird paper, page of homework, looks like pseudocode or study notes. It has the number combination (1 - 3 - 2 - 4 - 3 = 4). That's either shit math or a clue.
The drawers are 1 through 4, top to bottom, of course. Don't close a drawer before opening the next one (which means you could probably guess the order, since opening 1 covers 2 and opening 2 covers 3). After opening the third drawer for the last time you'll "hear something fall" and a special render will be in the bottom 4th drawer. So that's what that's all about.
