Yes, i play sometimes with minigames to get renders, get money or win the fights... and i agree that minigames are over now. DPC may know that most of players disabled minigames or maybe he don't have new ideas for that.Hmmm.
I don't think minigames are going anywhere. My point is that those specifically for the classes could change or be dropped, but the game will still have minigames somewhere in it.

Lord yes. I ended up transferring the game to my PC temporarily just so I could pass the painting and pancake games properly.
Because they're important characters and can't be cut out. This game may have choices, but they only serve to tailor the events for each player in what is essentially a fixed, linear story. They have a part to play and are also linked to characters and groups that are major parts of the story so it wouldn't be possible to avoid them. There's also the potential of pursuing solo routes with each of them later on down the line, that's why you can't get rid of them.
