I'll say mid October. Last time we were on this last straw DPC managed to surprise me when I thought we would only get the update like one month after that. One week until beta testing and each update takes less and less time to beta test. I am hopefull around 12-18 October we'll be playing it

Ya I feel like 10/23 isn't impossible, but 10/30 is probably the most likely. In my mind it comes down to how long it takes him to finish up those last couple sections he talked about in the update. I remember for Episode 5 it seemed like the beta testing window took like 5-7 days less than he had projected, so I do think a 10/23 release is POSSIBLE...just not likely. I'm trying to be optimistic as I'm really looking forward to this update.
You and me both brother...I'm dying waiting for the EVGA Hydro Copper, but figure in all likelihood they won't have any stock even once they get the SKU up on their site, lol.

Word of advise. There is an ignore feature in this forum. My life it's much more happy since I erase from existence the obvious trolls.
Cannot wait for the next episode. I have a feeling that what happens to Rusty depends on your affinity when you talked with Cathy.

affinity doesn't work like that, that scene will be the same for every player.

Do you think the fact the MC did or didn't do something with Cathy will have any affect?

No, since lewd scenes are optional and don't have any effect on a main plot point happening. Like MC being able to successfully console Cathy regardless of affinity and status for example.

I only asked because of that one tiny scene if you did have fun with Cathy once you've dropped her off and she takes a moment at her front door. (Which isn't there if you didn't have fun with her) I found that odd. But likely a character moment that maybe she's conflicted.

he explained himself badly, but what Mc says to Cathy at Bella's house is likely to have an effect. and the same for what they do or don't do in the car
affinity has nothing to do with it, however the different choices we make have to do with it

What are everyone's different theories on how Maya/Josy's threesome will go if MC isn't helping them complete all the scavenger hunt tasks?
I REALLY hope we aren't railroaded into joining if you are on the "just friends" route with them.
I'm curious who the third member would be if MC declines:
Jade's Husband: Doubtful, too big a chance the video would leak and ruin him.
Tybalt or another prep: Doubtful. In any other story he'd be portrayed as being sleazy enough to do it, in a "evil rich guy in a dark hentai game" kind of way, but Tybalt is pretty one dimensional and flat, he's simply really arrogant and would view fucking commoners as beneath him.
Vinny: Possible. I'm thinking Vinny is the "bigger bad," lurking in the shadows behind Quinn/Tommy, so I could see him fucking Josy/Maya to get over how evil he is.
Quinn: "If you want something done right..."
A masked Pink Rose customer: If you don't warn Maya, and choose to be just friends, you doom Maya/Josy to a life of prostitution. Quinn arranges with Stanley to have a "high roller" Pink Rose customer wear a mask and nail Josy/Maya in the PR's VIP lounge. The whole thing is secretly recorded and uploaded to the Internet.

So i bought season 1 on steam and loved it, but steam wont be getting these updates until season 2. If i download this here will it mess up the files i have from the steam version of the game?

No, because the Steam saves don't work on this version and vice-versa, so you can't mess anything up. You'l have to play this game from the beginning again with this version, but I recommend just waiting for Ep 6 as the full game in the link in the OP won't work with the update patch.
