In theory yes, it should work. I'm on the same spot as you are so will check it. But I had no issue patching .4 to .5.2

Does anyone have a clear answer for the people with the 0.5.2 version. Can we still use the 0.6 patch or do we need to unpack it? If not do the saves from the 0.5.2 game still work for 0.6?

I don't want to backstab my honorable fellow Holy Bacchus but I also think that the patch will account for officially released patch versions (5.0 -> 5.1 -> 5.2). It's the purpose of DPC to make a patch that "normal" players can use (no offense to all modders)
But nevermind anything, just give it a try.

No offense taken, Kommandant, because you're right. An official Patreon version of 0.5.0, 0.5.1, or 0.5.2 which is unmodded and hasn't been unpacked will work, but the issue is that the 0.5.2 that's been in this thread is unpacked and won't work.
