The first is that this is a porn game and therefore, despite things like its good story that make it more than just a regular, run-of-the-mill porn game, it does still follow porn logic a lot of the time and that logic says that Maya can indeed take the MC all the way with little effort.

I'm fine with that, except the game brought it up. In the two prior attempts for MC to "get it in" the scenes revolved around just how difficult it was for Maya, not just emotionally but physically, to handle penetration. If the game hadn't created that precedent, then fine. But if you create a barrier in a story, breaking through that barrier is now a plot concern that needs to be addressed (I swear that wasn't meant as a euphemism). I think handling it like this was just, as you say, a "porn logic" way of getting it out of the way.

As for that scene, I do agree that I would have preferred a more intimate and special moment for this first time, but at the same time, I think it serves a couple of purposes. The first is that it gets the Scavenger Hunt done quickly and easily. They could have taken more time, had a proper threesome, but that's probably something they (by which I mean M&J) would rather do privately, so all they had to do here was make it look legit.

But they manage to do that anyway. If you aren't on the M&J path they just fake it with dildos (like they originally planned), and it works. I know Maya is getting more comfortable with MC, and especially with Josy around, but that shouldn't change her point about how showing it to people would make her feel like a prostitute (her words). It's like DPC just forgot about that part.

It also serves the potentially useful purpose of unifying some divergent milestones. Prior to this, the MC might have had sex with only one of them. Now he's definitely had sex with both. The exact details will still vary from one playthrough to another, but the game no longer needs to keep covering for the possibility that the MC and one of the girls had never done anything overtly sexual before.

Honestly, that's probably the real reason DPC did it. I hadn't thought of that, but you're absolutely right and, for the purposes of story structure, it makes a lot of things simpler going forward. (I'm not sure if it makes them BETTER, but definitely simpler for DPC to manage.)

To be fair, at least "Mel is Chad's mistress" is possible. DPC has explicitly said the game will not contain incest, and yet the "Jill is MC's aunt" thing persists. She's literally more likely to be an alien.

I need some help here. I did a fresh DIK playthrough but for some reason i cant seem to get camilla's scene at episode 5 but i have encountered every possible scene with her.
Ordered her Scene
Told Quinn about the bathroom incident
Helped her and Mona with the Challenge
Took the photo they needed.
But after the second scene the sex scene doesnt start.I got it on my previous playthrough but i cant seem to find what's missing.

How many times do people need to hear "Mel was literally physically in the gym running on a treadmill when Chad was doing phone sex in the locker room" before it sinks in that she's not who Chad is cheating with?

This is the DPC way. The "not so subtle clues" are always misdirections.

Talking about misdirection the girl in the gym is seen only from the back and bcz the girl on the next treadmill looks like Sarah - one assume it is Melanie...yet based on the skin color and butt it could be Camila...

If I remember right it was later decided to have AL and BaDIK in parallel universes. If that was to be done, I doubt any of the characters from AL will play a major role even in the backstory of other characters and may get cameos or small scenes. Even so, Megan would not be old enough to fit this role. In AL at least MC and Liam joined the DIKs while in college and both of them are a fair bit older than Megan and Melissa. Wouldn't make sense overall for the M to be Megan.

Makes sense, I mean the DIKs are a fairly recent fraternity according to BADIK, I assume around 3 years old, and Liam and Jonas (AL MC default name) finished college a while back. The only plausible explanation, if we disregard both games being completely universes apart, would be the DIKs on BADIK being formed as an homage to another DIK fraternity from another college.

It's true that she looks darker in that scene, but Mel's colour changes a lot depending on filters and stuff. Those screens are from the same scene, and yet in the first one she looks a lot darker than in the t one, if you change lightning and filters it could end up as different as in the gym scene.

Hi! I'm trying to update from 0.5.2 to 0.6.1 I literally copied the patch files into the games folder and I get the episode 6 and can play it for some time but my game still says it is 0.5.2 version, am I missing something?

If your 0.5.2 is from here, then it's unpacked (has rpyc files in the game folder). The patch doesn't work on an unpacked game (as per the warning about modified games in th OP). You'll need to download the full 0.6.1
