I still don't understand this whole ending business, Being a DIK is not a dating sim, it's a college game. When this game ends, everyone still gonna be in college, I don't know what sort of ending people want.

I think that's also the reason people here are unable to grasp how this game can hit 20 chapters because they're so focused on the LIs that they don't realize the MC is about a month into a 4 year program, lots of story left to be told.

I definitely don't expect a "happily ever after, married with 2.5 kids ending". I'd be content with a "college was a great experience, and no one died" ending.

Nah there will definitely 100% be some sort of timeskip endings as im pretty sure DPC won't want to work on this game for the next 20 years trying to make content lasting the next 3 years of the mc's college life. DPC more then likely is already working on another script for whatever his next project is.

One of the good things about this going to 20 episodes is now my original hope of having a spring break episode may become a reality.

Well we're not going to see all 4 years play out, I think that's pretty damn certain. But at the pace of the current story I also think we're unlikely to see it reach Christmas with the main story and side stories still unresolved.

When it does "end" it will probably be a case of, "well, that was an eventful first couple of months at college, now here's a summary of what happened afterwards followed by a bit of time in the future to show where things are now."

EDIT: Just googled it, the age of consent in Tonga is 15 - all good.

On the topic of endings I think the story will end at year 1 or at most year 2. Graduating/4 years would require too many time skips. A post credits scene with a middle aged MC and the LI or a honeymoon type stuff would be cool though

Well shit. On the one hand, that should be fun. On the other hand, the tennis minigame to me is what D&G is to most of you. Absolutely hated it. The way they hold the racquets and swing also just triggers my internal ComicBookGuy as someone who played tennis.
