Surely that feels being sold "part of a game" given how long the Steam players have to wait to find out what happens next, and if James were to show up right after banging Bella in Ep 8, that would feel very similar.

James is going to be a nothing character, just a name, never going to show up, especially not in some cliffhanger way.
