I think on he's patreon page he said that rendering is running 24/7 but while stuff is rendering he is maybe setting up other renders then?

Yeah, you can't work non-stop from dawn until after midnight every day for years. You need breaks for food, toilet, rest, etc. and he apparently is married so no wife is going to allow that, I don't care how much money he is making for her.

I guess Pinkcakes can be like us, and use that time to rub out to his or other games, or he can use that time to get paid.
Even taking away outdoors time due to pandemic, the average work day is 8 hours, I assume Sweden is same as here. Adding in a commute to and from and you looking at 10 maybe more. It's not far fetched that he's actual working for at least half the day.

Ya I agree it annoys me that Tommy wasn't all black and blue on the face afterward but MC has a black eye even though MC kicked the crap out of him...makes no sense.In my numerous playthroughs, my mc wins every fight without a mistake (except for my wimp playthrough where the mc got trashed by everyone...) so it does annoy me that Dawe landed his sucker punch right after the MC took out all four Alphas, that Tommy managed to give the MC a black eye, and that Chad gets a hit in at the beginning and end of their rumble, but then minutes later some chick was sucking on the mc's dick and I forgot all about it...
Not offending me, you're just calling a spade a spade. His haircut is AWFUL. I've said that since the first time I played the game over a year ago.

This week I worked mainly on static renders and a few animations.
Something I worked extra hard on this week was environment design, and I will have to continue to work on this and the last free-roam event next week. It will be a fairly big free-roam event, but work should be progressing at a steady pace.
I have written plenty of the script too, and I only have a handful more scenes to write.
On top of the free-roam event, static renders and writing; I have some work left with phone content, mini-games and music/sound.
I cannot estimate how long this will take, but I can feel that the episode must be at least 80% complete in terms of content (static renders/animations/GUI elements).
The final percentages always take the longest to complete, as polishing and wrapping things up are needed, but we are in the end-game of development of this beast of an episode.
Something new that I can reveal for you today is the episode title, and it will be:
Episode 7 - True Colors

As for all the clones i hope an original writer comes along to create a really amazing story because that is the basis!
then that person could recruit gasai to do the rendering and animations or someone just as good (is there anyone? i know a few who come close but still)!
Maybe someone to hire or collaborate with Dalli_x to create internal contraptions to the story and create the red herrings!
these kind of projects are starting to be needed as 3 persons teams one to write the architecture or skeleton of the story one to write the internal dinamics and world as to avoid problems as diferent currencies and stupid blackmail plotlines and ofc develop side stories/misteries that keep people entertained on the slow moments the overall story requires and ofc someone to handle the rendering and animations!
As for people predictions regarding the finishing time you can all cut the time by 1/3 as the technology develops, my problem being that new and better technology as so far not reduced the delivery times it as just increased the size of the game, the size of the game impacts the render and animations quality and secondary cheap thrills but adds nothing to the story!
I do hope DPC as written down the story so far and is not winging it out of his ass as he progresses!
and i agree with flappy he needs to get a hold of gasai phone number to help with the caracthers and a dedicated programmer to create his mini games, i understand he is having fun developing new mini games but he takes 5 times longer then a dedicated programmer for little gain except acquiring experience
and do not get me wrong he needs experience for when he hires someone like that so he can get the best out of that person! but experience does not mean he needs to master it!
as for people still surprised about the long work hours almost all the successful people in the world when they built their success work at least those many hours and most importantly they take advantage of every minute to get more out of it so that 1 hour of their work would take the average graduate with experience 5 hours! As Kevin hart said when he met Jeff Bezos "whats the secret of your success?" no BS he got the best out of his time with JB and JB appreciated it, he as 200 things to do (including his new wife) and only enough time to do 20!
