I've often wondered if Chad was maybe just calling a phone sex chatline, that's why he seems confused about the accusation of cheating.

The panties are a harder gimme, though. Like thats the big wrench in a lot of the Chad theories. Trying to figure out the angle with the panties. Don't you think that it's obvious that many culprits doesn't want to admit guilty in the first place without any proven evidences ? In this Chad/Sage case, Sage didn't show the recording video (evidences) to Chad, yet. In my opinion, as for now, Chad is playing the game pretty well because he don't think that Sage have any evidences. Let's wait and see how his game will be, or how he will react when Sage show the recording video to him.

Like I said, I'm looking at his reaction. He doesn't react with guilt. Compare his reaction to that of Burke when Jade is yelling at him. The dude reeks off guilt. Chad doesn't have any of that in his scene. Like, if you look at his body language, he comes off as the good guy, caught in a mess, trying to do whats right. Its weird as fuck.

EDIT: Also that is some dogshit ass logic. All culprits don't admit guilt without proven evidence, so if someone is not admitting guilt without proven evidence they're automatically guilty?

I could see it with others Jocks but not really for Chad. He isn't dumb and isn't really well-meaning with how he punch Anthony, but I can agree with clueless. The problem is that he can be clueless about relationship, but he also doesn't really care about Sage so it doesn't make sense.

For the blackmail, could it be for his use of steroids which are banned for his championship and if revealed could cost him dearly ?

Hmm, the thing that keeps me from leaning in the direction of "we have Chad all wrong" is how easily he lied when confronted with attacking the MC. Chad's been in the relationship for a while, so he knows his girlfriend is no saint. He just doesn't feel bad about lying to her. Probably knows she'll go after the girl as well. Sage isn't a psycho, but I can see her punching somebody in the face if they piss her off.

But who knows, with this type of game, Niccolò Machiavellian stuff may be involved in this particular situation.

She's was a time bomb waiting to happen. And she would be pretty psycho in the moment. Mc seems to be the only thing that eventually grounds her.

That reaction can be read multiple ways, Chad's not a hugely vocal guy, he gives looks. but he definitely gave mel a weird look when sage was screaming who. And Mel had that chipmunk face. (Which I took as internal excitement)

Well, sometimes people can have "relationships" with these phone sex workers in that they regularly chat with each other and the guy might send her gifts and she might send him things in return, so maybe these are the panties of a phone sex worker that Chad talks to.

The thing about the whole "Chad is gay and cheating with Troy" theory, is that it's just a convenient way to get Chad out of the picture and to ensure that there's no going back for Sage since she's definitely not his type, but there has to be some sort of relationship/personal drama for each of these characters and without Chad, what is there for Sage? I've often theorised that her post-Chad drama could centre around her struggling between her feelings for the MC and wanting a relationship with him, but her logical brain is telling her that she shouldn't start a relationship with a freshman.

However, if Chad were to just be a well-meaning dumbfuck who is straight and not cheating on Sage, this could be just as dramatic because it means there's a chance they could get back together, and I could see DPC doing this as perhaps he wants people to struggle with wanting all (or most of) these girls, not wanting them to be with certain people, but knowing that they can't do either of these things and will have to make a choice of who to be with which could result in these girls being with the guys they don't them to be with.

1)I'm not sure what your point is. Are you agreeing that it was a misdirect? Sage/MC and most players are generally accepted the phone call as proof of cheating. Unlikely. Chad's material was separate from Dawe's and Chad didn't show his to the others. Most of the jocks (although so far only Chad and Dawe are confirmed) were on steroids. Fun thing is, I go to B&R in real life. The pictures DPC uses for B&R when you look out of people's windows are form Trinity College, Toronto, where I study. Just a fun thing I'm not sure if anyone has noticed before.
