i recall maybe a year or so earlier that when i read the profile for this game, quinn was a LI and her photo was part of the main list rather than 5 LI's it was 6. i didnt start this game til maybe 2 months ago. and i was dissapointed that the quinn image was removed from the list of LI's since she was my main draw on the initial choice of playing aside from jill. anyhow, does anyone still have a screenshot of that with quinn in the group of LI's?

also can someone explain she was removed if they know?

It was just a promo shot and was never an actual indication of her main girl status. That said, I think it's dumb that she wasn't included as a main girl. Quinn would have rounded out the cast nicely. You have angelic Jill, so it would make sense to have someone on the opposite end of the spectrum. Sage, although on the DIK side, never quite feels like a bad girl. And then you think about how much time DPC already spends on Quinn as opposed to the other side girls. He even gave her an entire flashback story. I love Camila, but she gets fuck all in terms of back story. We see a little bit of Jade's home life, but that has as much to do with Stephen as it does Jade. Anyway, I like to classify Quinn as a main side girl.

I don't. It doesn't really make much sense because even if Vinny was behind it, what's the point? Petty revenge? Seems like a total waste of time and effort on his part. Plus, how did he get that picture of Cathy, let alone get in to the party unseen? The library windows are just windows, not doors, so it's not like he could sneak in or out of there. And why would Nick help? Seems like, whatever the goal may be, that there isn't really any benefit for him.

To get that picture of Cathy, it would seem most likely that it was taken by a girl since it was in the womens changing room, and I'd still say that the most likely person to have taken it would have been a HOT. Which, if you go by the Vinny theory, would mean he has a HOT as an accomplice, but I think it would be more likely that this whole thing was done by someone in the HOTs with no involvement from Vinny or Nick.

Obvious suspects are Quinn and Riona.

Quinn cares about the money and to do that she needs to sell more stuff, but that can't happen with Rusty in charge. With Rusty gone and Tommy in charge, she thinks that her sales would go way up, but the problem is she underrestimates Tommy's backbone and after her betrayal, he gives her the hard shoulder which she didn't expect. With the jocks deal gone, she's forced to try to sell to the Preps.

Or it could be Riona, on direct orders from Quinn. She looks awfully distressed when the laptop disappeared, which hints at she knows some stuff, but doesn't really tell.

But without Rusty there is no free money for all the things they do, the rest would have to spend more of their money for the common things, food, drinks, parties, the house... in other words less available for drugs.

I'm still not convinced she's only a side dish. There's still time to make her a main course. Of course, it will involve a lot more writing to do that since her character is so far off the rails. The MC likes her but they have very little in common.

She won't be. She's an antagonist and that is her function according to DPC.

I don't really care about the judicial aspect, I don't think there is a threat of a real trial.

I'm interested in the moral aspect. Tybalt's advice not to hang out with Mc is very good advice, then of course it is tainted by Tybalt's real goal. But Jill, has several reasons why she shouldn't hang out with MC anymore, who does very little to deserve her trust in several episodes including the Preps party.
Of course I'm talking in the case of a MC interested in Jill, who only phones her to prepare for the Preps' raid, when he meets her that evening he tells her nothing and waits for Tybalt to detonate the bomb.

Then from the blackmail onwards Jill promptly regains ground and at that point it should be Mc to avoid her, and instead the poor guy who has never had a TV decides to declare himself to her....


Maya for me is only Alpha in the troupe...

but Josy is never even vaguely so....

the first characteristic should be to be assertive and tend to make decisions for themselves and others.

In the relationship with MC, Josy is indecisive to paradoxical levels " I'm busy but I want to see you again" "how nice to hear from you, but I shouldn't have called you" " goodbye, but why don't you stay over?"

then she is punished like a little girl for a week without a phone and after that she decides to react like a little girl, running away to go to college... running away from a father who loves her and whom she loves...
On the famous evening of her arrival at BR, she runs away first and hides in the bathroom....
when the father comes to visit she is afraid to face him....

the only alpha act is to face Quinn, that she doesn't know anyway and that has no power on her (unlike Maya, that is true that she is a toy in Quinn's hands, but she is forced to suffer for the mirage of free tuition)

from the arrival to the BR onwards she practically suffers any decision, she goes in the troupe if Maya feels like it, otherwise she suffers and then she unloads the blame on the girl, at the picnic she listens and nods...

Josy has a few spurts of courage (with Quinn, with Tommy) but in general she suffers even more than Maya, who at least has to deal with more or less real problems, Josy just endures

Josy, is in control of her life. She not only once had summer job, She makes the first step for both on the MC and Maya. She not run away from home, like a little girl, she got in to the college so She does not give a fuck and decide to move by herself. She was already ready to move away anyway.
Josy can be insecure, She has a flip-flop personality time to time, I guess, DPC is still trying to figure out, how to Write her consistently. but to say Maya is more Alpha than Josy, No.

She is getting a bunch of screen time, hot sex scenes, and all the drama fans could want. If I were a Quinn fan, I wouldn't worry too much about the label. Define how the prep's house was "vandalized" because no damage was done to the actual house, the sprinkler system would not cause the damage Tybalt claims and the eggs never hit the house. Not to mention MC hitting Tybalt is not set is stone because it is a choice. So asking a friend if there was a party planned with the HOTs for some reason is a bad thing now? Which turned out to be some kind of a fundraiser which confused the DIKs even more as to why would the HOTs be there. Get in, talk to either Sage or Quinn because they are not picking up their phones and get out. This of course would have never happened if the either of them picked up their phones and said "hey we are doing this because we are low on money." But of course that doesn't give drama so things are the way they are.

Again you are using too much real life logic man.

I don't think you have any idea how much damage the fire suppression system does to furniture.... water ruins furniture, books and textiles very easily, and in general I think there are average things in the preps' home. don't you think it would have ruined Jill's piano?

What's with the eggs?

I didn't mention the punch to Tybalt because I'm assuming a Mc interested in Jill doesn't do that. but in the end it would just be the silly icing on a silly cake.

The prankster jokester to the preps has no justification in the story, apart from Tybalt the other preps for all we know could be decent people, we don't know them and they never did anything to us.

DPC takes himself very seriously, his fans take him very seriously, why should I take him any less? and I'd rather consider that sometimes a character can behave badly, selfishly or stupidly than accept anything because they're teenagers, they're in love, etc etc.

i'm playing stepmother love, a very rudimentary game in every aspect, i don't try at all to understand the why of the actions of its characters....

Did you expect Quinn to have a decent size and loyal fanbase? From where did your inspiration for Quinn's character come?

I expected Quinn to be very polarizing. She is nowhere near a fan favorite based on polls, but she's unmatched in the game for those who enjoy a character like her. The inspiration was to create an antagonist that you'd either love to hate or hate to love. For me, Quinn is a character I love to write.

that's not what I said, Maya is only alpha in the trouple (it seems undeniable to me) for the rest her tactic is that of the possum, pretending to be dead and hoping someone will do something, and I think I've said this so many times that you should know.

The running away to college remains ridiculous, would her father have stopped her from going to college? Really 14 year old teenage crisis stuff.

it's not an obligation to be an alpha, even Mc is very little (at least for now), why should Josy be? she has other qualities.

She was never going to be a LI. DPC originally had just 4 LIs (Bella, Sage, Maya, Josy), but then a couple months out from the release of Ep 1 he announced there would be a 5th LI, Jill, because he felt she was needed for the story.

So, what does Queen gain?

Potentially money, if her plan was to take some of the heat off the Jocks and put it on the DIKs so she could complete their deal that Dawe reneged on because the Jocks were under closer scrutiny.
