Sometimes when you make one bad decision, you landslide into situations that only allow you to make worse decisions. Once Quinn decided to start selling drugs on campus, it catapulted her into a plethora of bad situations where no matter what choice she made would be considered bad. Sure, she could choose to walk away but it isn't exactly crystal clear why she made that decision in the first place.

I respect Magnar. He's one of the first people that was actually decent to MC the first day. Plus, I get the "swinger" vibe from him. Like he wouldn't necessarily care if you smashed Sally.

I found Magnar's haughtiness in ep. 1 to be quite realistic. He reminded me of nerds I knew in school. Not rude necessarily, but they know they are smarter than everyone else and they don't make a secret of it. When dummies like me scored poorly on tests you could see the pity in their eyes.
Like how you would view an ape fumbling to figure out a man-made tool.

Definitely very realistic. The nerds I went to school with were very blunt. Rusty and the DIK's end up paying protection money to the tri-betas and Magnar develops a hobby and beats the crap out of the Alphas on an hourly schedule. When the beatings become so severe, the Alphas disband and sell their frat house and pay off Magnar so that he leaves them alone.
