Did you expect Quinn to have a decent size and loyal fanbase? From where did your inspiration for Quinn's character come?

I expected Quinn to be very polarizing. She is nowhere near a fan favorite based on polls, but she's unmatched in the game for those who enjoy a character like her. The inspiration was to create an antagonist that you'd either love to hate or hate to love. For me, Quinn is a character I love to write.

Are there any characters in either of your games that you particularly like or dislike?

I can't answer who my favorite girl is, in Being a DIK, before the game is completed. I don't want to appear biased and make players think that I value certain characters more than others. But like all of us, I have my own tastes and indeed I have favorites in both terms of beauty and character. Some of my likes/dislikes would probably surprise you.

I have a rating for all characters that I update between episodes. I score them 1-5 cakes depending on how much I like/dislike them. The ratings change a lot with time, as I get to know the characters, but so far it's only been in the upwards direction, meaning that I only like characters more and more.

The characters I do enjoy writing for the most are, in no particular order: Derek, Quinn, Isabella and Jade. Derek is an outlet for my juvenile sense of humor, Quinn lets me be a manipulative puppet master and Isabella & Jade let me use a different kind of vocabulary.

Ok maybe there are people who forgive Quinn's shitty actions Personally I think almost everything she does is fucking unconscionable, but I love her cuz she's a complicated character with a complicated past in a complicated situation. I think DPC has picked the songs for Quinn's scenes with the MC very intentionally and it reveals that she doesn't want to do what she's doing but she has to walk that path, journey through that darkness, to get to some unseen goal of hers (a more normal happiness). I feel you on the prostitution and drug stuff and there's some blame to spread around, still tho Quinn needs to take a lot of it.

Let's take the scene in Quinn's room in ep 7 during the party, Quinn and Sally are convincing KRJ to buy some pills. Sally's doing it for the 10% discount, Quinn's doing it for the sale and another potential client, and Sally uses almost the exact same rationalization that you do about big pharma and its complicity with drug prices and shit. Yeah all that is true about big pharma, fuck big pharma in a lot of ways, but that doesn't change the situation that both Sally and Quinn are in that room to fuck KRJ over for their own benefit. Is there a knife to KRJ's throat? Naw man but it's predatory, and it doesn't stop there.

And let's all be real about this, if we swap Quinn's model with some fat chick from the women's study class, no one would give a fuck about her story. How often you see someone in this thread or anywhere try to theorize about why Burke is a piece of shit? What about his childhood and his circumstances? No one give a shit. Quinn's the best character in the game imo but looks and sex are a part of the package.

I said it before, I'll say it again. The problem is Quinn's attitude to them and Maya. If Quinn wasn't a "mean bitch" to others, didn't fuck with Maya, didn't show she didn't care what others think about her, didn't fuck with people they wouldn't at least act that way. Saw some people saying she should get killed and thrown inside garbage truck Because of her attitude, when people decide to shit on her they automatically throw the drug and restaurant cards in. Half of the characters in the game use drugs, almost every DIK used the reastaurant at least once, mind you.
Basically every other character is relatable whatever they do in their eyes, except Quinn. Someone with a drug dealer father and a junkie mother who used so much crack she lost her senses. She doesn't recognize her own daughter. Her dad is either in jail or got killed. Her father's best friend/partner, essentially their "family friend" is her "supplier" now. She was born into this life and she had no choice. She grew up in that house. Now she goes back there to get supplies and sell them so she can make a living with her "cut".
We also don't know when she lost her dad. Cuz after that point, she couldn't rely on anyone anymore.

But hey, fuck her sideways. She doesn't deserve empathy, she obviously chose that life you know. She should have known better and leave that life behind her when she was 6 years old, after she learnt how to read and write.

Meanwhile, let's all emphatize with Maya, she's gone through hell, what did she to do to deserve this? If we do a recap, I believe she has both her parents and a twin brother who is and was there all her life. Yeah, her father is a cunt, but he's still there. She has something can be called "family". When did her issues start with her dad? A few years ago? When she discovered her sexual identity and started a relationship with Josy.
Like all this was not enough, poor thing believed Quinn of all girls that a free tuition existed, didn't even bother asking the actual person who was responsible with how things went around the frat house. Imagine going through this for a month meanwhile getting support and help from Josy and MC. Now Sage decided to help her honestly too.

It's so funny and self explanatory why even in 21st century people don't believe earth is not flat or simple statement because that does against their own thought process.

But regaring my point of view I know either my choice for choosing quinn could lead to a shit show but even in that I chose her and that that point which make different then others because everyone like safety net and some are just ready go as much as we can for what we think.

You are joking right Maya and josy is way hotter then quinn. I personally like ashely to fuck with. If I have to put some one on the top of sexiest category that will be Josy, Maya, Jade, ashely, Nicole, Bella, Jill, quinn and sage.
