DrPinkCake you will prob won't ever read this but still I want to say I never expected to enjoy such a game in a way I do now.
I haven't been active much on this website and only used it to download "degenerate" stuff and be gone with it. So on my download spree last week I went into the trending game and downloaded a lot of games like these, at first your title putted me off I was like what kind of title is "being a DIK" then I saw animated tag and was like aight that can't be half bad.

So I downloaded it and was suprised to see a 10go file ! HOLY DAMN I though to myself. So I start the game and I am greeted with voice acting and all. WOW ! So I start playing at first ; I don't play like I would act myself I mostly play it as a "badass" or "dik" cause I'm thinking this is the route I need to go... So I enjoy it the scenes are amazing and the story is ABSOLUTELY CAPTIVATING bring me back to high school if it was better lol. But then I don't like the path my MC is going so at the end of chapter 3 I decided screw it I restart the game and act with my own choices and how I would act. AND WOW, I am just so immersed and I just really appreciate it. Idk if this is your full time thing but I will surely get on that Patreon if it can help.

It's not just a "adult" game, the stories, the jokes, the characters, sure sometimes it can be a little unrealistic in the way they act but overall the game is very well made and captivating.

I know this is getting long but I just had to tell you how much I appreciate it man.

And some guy showing up with the "I fucked your girlfriend" face, might be some drama, prolly not cheating drama (simultaneous fuckbuddies) since that would be taking too far, she is not even the perfect virgin prototype like Maya (yes, lesbian stuff, like in porn, doesn't count) and Jill, she is more of an active person, and if DPC is trying to get more emotion in her path, god that could be some heart breaking shit down this path for her.

Hopefully not, I have no interest in past dickings just future ones. But you can't deny the potential for drama there.

but it's a kind of drama that creates more problems for developers than benefits.

Yeah acting lessons was great and the ending quite heartbreaking. But if we played as a good guy we still would get a somewhat good ending. But still will make you sad. Deaths were unavoidable in it. But the best VN I have ever played. And I hope BaDiK won't disappoint. I picked Sage fuck buddy route and now its just Jill and Sage. But now Jill seems to be sad after the Tybalt presentation so I hope the Jill route wont end soon, coz I was thinking about dropping Sage route the next chance i get. Will see how it turns out. But knowing DPC and his opening intro with Jill and asking about Hard state in life and stuff, I've already braced myself for an ending like in Acting Lessons. The junkies in Quinn's story and Riona's text is making me feel that's how he is planning to do this in here idk for sure. I hope im wrong.

But right from the release of chapter one i have had the feeling he will give a heartbreaking ending and have bracing for something like that ever since. But as i keep playing its getting hard to anticipate anything or not get sad

But Sage was willing to wait months (at least she said she was). It's just that MC started making out with her seconds after she finished saying that, with predictable results. If the MC had been as disinclined to fool around with Sage as Chad likely was, Sage would probably have been in for another long dry spell.

Again, I think it's possible Sage cheated on Chad prior to the MC, but I don't feel what we've seen supports the idea.

I know the game would never let her sleep with someone else but they’ve never had the talk about exclusivity which (yet again) is damaging the story. It makes the writing sloppy because her waiting for him doesn’t specifically exclude her from seeing other people.

We have to assume she wouldn’t but that isn’t based on anything in game. She was really quick to cheat on Chad, given her claims now it was just sex with the MC (and with hindsight she was quick to cheat, she was kissing MC at that party and ready to do more at the drop of a hat).

Id freely believe she cheated on Chad before (despite no evidence for it) and was it not for the hardline against it at a meta level I wouldn’t doubt she’d sleep with someone else despite the agreement with the MC.

Aye welcome to the DIKs brother. I, too, downloaded the game expecting a good fap session but in the end the sessions were few and far between while gameplay continues to astound me. The scenes are good to rewatch if you want a quickie though, I've been there multiple times after watching a 20-30 min vid and not finding release. Not sure if anyone else has done the same

Camila/Envy/Riona are definitely competitors for the spot of top side chick, but I absolutely adore Camila when she was trying to cheer Mona up. She was just...... so adorable. I mean, come on, look at this face, how is that not cute?

I love this render of Walrus Camila. She's trying to cheer up her buddy, Mona. Little things like this make the characters so interesting and cool. Mona and Cammy are so good! (Riona too).

Maybe. I certainly think it plays out that way in the friend route.

But the fuck buddy route sure seemed like the MC was deliberately teasing Sage. I don't think he was surprised by the kiss. I'll admit his eyes being opened does make it ambiguous.

Sage's presentation suffers from inconsistency if you look too hard. As I've said, her "Guys don't normally turn me down" is very odd when you think about the way the game also suggests she has been loyal to Chad up to this point. Sage on the friendship path should express at least a little doubt that she's still sexy, but the topic never comes up.

You are right that the strongest argument against Sage fooling around on the MC is that this game isn't going there.

That said, I don't think the evidence in game is that far away from making sense. Sage clearly likes sex and is frustrated she isn't getting any, but she isn't sex obsessed. As she says, she tries to find some balance in her life. I can believe she is capable to being loyal under anything like normal circumstances; she only went so far with the MC because she had been *utterly* stonewalled for months before the MC showed up as a catalyst.

Unfortunately, the game has been lazy. We should have seen actual evidence of this beforehand, and the characters themselves should address some of these concerns. I shouldn't need to fill in the gaps myself to explain Sage's seemingly anomalous behavior. But I'd still label this as a relatively minor issue.

It's alright man just start over with a new save file. You're probably gonna do it eventually anyway, and you can still go for DIK choices even with CHICK status, though there will definitely be some locked choices, if you like Jill, definitely open a new CHICK save.

Haha yeah I know I like to do a single playthrough blind though until full release.
Going back and changing decisions would feel like cheating
It's how I played Acting Lessons. I'll go back and play the other routes after full release though.

Dunno what exactly is the problem, but be sure to use same type of updates as your previous version of the game (either both full version or both compressed version)

Also be sure to use same version number MOD's if you use any (7.2 is most current) ( always install mods last! )
If you use an older walkthrough mod then your current game you might get problems...
