Honestly? I think Being a DIK is better written than Acting Lessons.

I don't think we can compare the two.

It is not at all the same background. On the one hand, we have a rather serious history with adults; on the other, it is the typical story of students.

We don't have the same scale either. AL is an MC, his sidekick, 2 main LI, and after a few other characters and secondary story. BaDIK is much larger at all levels of the story (that's also why some points are less good).

in the sixth chapter if Mc stops to eat with Sage, Josy and Maya show a minimum of jealousy
and Josy in the seventh chapter asks MC if he is still dating Jill.

what is absurd is that Jill NEVER asks MC how it went with Maya and Josy, and then wonders during the presentation ...

and in the same way Bella and Sage if we go to them in the fourth chapter...

For the first question, you cannot message Jill, the scenario decides when Jill messages you and you have to respond.
In the game there are a few characters like Quinn or Derek you can phone to in some occasions.
But you need to check Rooster sometimes and there are a few Jill's message you can answer to.
But if you want Jill, you better be a chick and choose her instead of Sage when Sage is sick.
That game may give you the illusion that you will be able to follow the path of all the girls but you better choose now before it's too late. Depending of certain choices you have made until ch7 end, it could be already over for many of them!
I've just got it in the ass two days ago, when i replayed the game to follow all secondary girls, i lost Josy and Maya just because i choose to go see Quinn instead of staying with Maya when it's available, and to go to the DIK's party before.
When we had our discussion during the DIK's party in the library, they told me that they could not accept a threesome, so just the fact that i went to see Quinn that evening crashed my relation with Josy and Maya.
So if you want Jill, you better be carefull because the scenario tend to force you to follow Jill because of Tybalt and the Preps party ending but your dates with Jill are only motivated by that story.
Then you can think that Jill is still available as LI and one day she will tell you that you can only be friends because of Bella opinions and a dick pic or missed opportunities to meet her in the previous chapters.
For those who have played Acting Lessons, that kind of bad surprise could have been painfull!
