I've never been able to adequately describe why I like Nicole so much. She just has this je ne sais quoi quality about her. She is pretty, but it's weird because I don't particularly like blondes and I don't particularly like fake bewbs, but Nicole just has this calm, mature, and sultry aura about her that is irresistible. Most of the other women in game are so hyper or over bubbly or just flat out neurotic. Nicole, on the other hand, has a James Dean type of coolness that some people just have naturally, most don't. She's great in bed that much is true, but I think it's her demeanor even more than her looks that make her attractive to me.

Oh, and she does butt stuff on the first "date." Always an automatic +50 points from Kellermann.

Nicole made a very good first impression, no doubt. For whatever reason I beelined it straight to her on the mc's first visit of the Pink Rose and it only got better and better.

The fact that the Swyper interaction only served to strengthen the relationship was great (apart from finding out Cathy's secret, was there any other significant Swyper events - maybe trying to let Arieth know she had crabs )

But the scene in the bar when she was all over him, that was the pinnacle. Sure the threesome with Sandy was the cherry on top, but her openly making out with the mc was a nice breath of fresh air compared with all the LIs:

• Trying to keep the relationship with Josy under wraps so not to ignite Tommy's fury (like what does he care anyway)
• Trying not to upset Derek too much while trying to get Maya to agree to anal
• Have to fuck Sage in silence so as not to alert the other HOTs (I lie, that was a fucking great scene, but sneaking around with Sage was still an issue)
• Bella's conscience always getting the better of her as the MC's cock is tickling the entrance of those vaginal walls
• Jill's fucking virginity (or is that her non-fucking virginity)

Even the other girls aren't so straight up:

• Arieth... Not sure if it's worth it.

I've wondered since the end of this Episode (7) if all the LI's are moving to have an option for both DIK and CHICK after they reject you when on one of the paths. Sage seems to be moving that way. Josy/Maya could move that way as individuals (not the thruple they are now) later in Season 3 if they reject you early (of course this could also still happen in CHICK affinity too). Jill may finally take Bella's advice to heart that anything is better than Tybalt - including MC as a DIK character. And Bella's personality of being a bit schitzo is already aluded to, so easy to see how she could go for a DIK MC later in the game.

I'm probably way off as this would make the need to cover various scenes in future Episodes almost twice what it is now and would be a headache to code, but I've wondered if it might be heading this way.

This is actually quite an interesting issue. Badik is quite unique in this regard. There are plenty of porn games in wich the MC has an absent father figure like Summertime Saga or Waifu Academy. The reason is quite simple, with the father gone they can have "incestual" relations with the mother and be some sort of man of the house.
But Badik dont go for incest, therefore the whole trope is not needed. Personally i aprove as an incest game would make the story less interesting for me.
Yet he choose to make the MC an orphan by mother. MC is orphan by story convenience, not for an erotic fantasy. Orphans are usual in fiction to make the reader feel pity for the MC and therefore to like him and be relatable. The classic example is Oliver Twist but the list goes long. Yet he choose to make him orphan just by mother and not by both of them. Why?
I think he semiconsiously take this desition, not by reason but by intuition. And i think it works for two reasons. The most important couse it presents an MC wich from the get go completely lack female relations. She has no girlfriends not female friends, not even female families. He has no relation with any female. It's a complete zero and thats whats make him relatable. The story is his journey exploring a world mostly unknown for him at the start, the same way he starts knowing little from his mother and yet eventually starts to know her more.
The second one, it kinda make his father a more relatable character too, for a similar reason. Of course a widow mother is a relatable character but since it's a porn game, and most players are males, its more easy for them to empathize with a male who lost his wife. With a female there will always be some sort of sexual sheet involve and this push out any chances of incest.
