Well he's already doing a lot of playtime padding with all these mini games, pixel hunts and even managing sims which I'm really not a fan of but still can't skip because I'm stubborn. It's a great tactic too because it doesn't require much render time or story writing and you still get results.
Well, they've been consistently running around the 5ish month mark, so I wouldn't worry about it. Also once he gets Season 2 released on Steam and functioning, don't be surprised if he takes a month off or something to unwind for a bit - dude works around 12 hours per day every day of the week on the game so a good disconnect will be good if he decides to take one. I am pretty sure he did that after Season 1 was complete also.

If anyone can keep after it for the long haul, it's DPC. The long delays are due to his own need to challenge himself and make every episode larger with more "shiny objects" and not because he is losing interest. Hopefully he will level off soon with his content increases. My big fear is him going well beyond 6 months per episode release.

I don't know how old he is (my gauge is he's in his 40s - I think his first game, Acting Lessons, the mc was probably modelled to be around his own age), but he's very professional in his work and diligence.

And people still think he'll abandon this game...more like he'll prolong as much as he can, no guarantee his next game will be as good or successful as this one. He will finish but only time will tell when, each update after I finish the chapter I replay the entire thing because I can't remember shit, 12 ~16 chapters seems a good number to end.
In the past he's said 16-20 episodes. That was a while ago though so who knows what's on the table now. Given how insanely profitable this game is it does seem more likely he'll try to drag it out, but on the other hand, given how hard he works on it he might want to end it early just so he can stop for a while.

That's out of the question, there's no way the game will last that long if every update is huge 3000+ renders from now, even if he tries to stretch it. 16 chapters is most likely, 12 seems too little with how many plotlines and questions are left.
Maybe we are getting another Major Choice related to Chad's sexuality, options being if you'll tell everyone and being a dick about it, or respecting Chad's privacy and letting him be. And that could have reflection on his relation with the rest of the Alphas.
