You are making too much out of this. I'm pretty sure that It will be like before we follow largely the same route with some unique scenes, interactions and dialogues depending on your choices.

Yeah, maybe. But the last big branching thing I remember was deciding who to spend the night at after Maya Josy reveal and that was a minor thing comparatively. And in this update already I feel like I missed like 40% of content, because it was on different routes. That really improves the replayability of this game but I'm worried on the strain it takes to keep branching such important stuff.
I had "Others" as an option in my list when the appropriate prompt came up. Probably just depends on how many girls you've either had 'relations' with, or built up a certain # of points with.
