I'm assuming Zoey is going to really add some momentum to the whole family puzzle of Josy, Maya, Derek, Tommy, MC and Neil.

And why?
DPC has planned from the beginning to integrate Zoey later in the game. The flashback in EP3 was just an appetizer. In EP1, there is already a hint of a connection between Maya, Derek, and Zoey that doesn't become clear until EP8.

There is an apple to Derek's right and a skateboard to his left. The apple represents Maya (EP8) and the skateboard represents Zoey.

Also, Josy's mother can be seen on the Interlude banner. It's her mother. Just look at the frown on her face. Who noticed the frown on the MC in EP8? Josy. Josy also noticed in this context that Tybalt is harmless. Screw the Wall if Josy's mom and Jade are sisters. The only thing against it is that then Sage and Josy would also be related. But that could also explain why Josy didn't tell Sage at the EP7 HOT party that Josy was also intimate with the MC, especially since the MC hasn't decided on a LI yet.

I think the interlude will be very revealing of certain family issues.

No she's not shes same age SHE DROPPED out of highschool 6 months before she would finish according to flashback. While MC stayed and finished. or five months if MC's summer job only lasted a month.(which is also as long as he knew Jose before their first date.)

Zoey is probably older than the MC. Look at the pictures. The MC is overtaking Zoey in height. If Zoey had graduated high school sooner than the MC, her leaving would also make more sense.

"yeah, I finished school in san diego, applied for B&R and got in as the 57th backup after some chick mona bailed"
if she won't be on campus, I just don't see her being a that big part of the story like the rest of the girls. sure, fuckface's hometown isn't that far but when josy was back there, even with the weekend you went back for her, I can't say I felt she was actually a part of it all. there was a "promise" of her coming to colege at some point as she was on the backup list but that might as well have not happened at all.
zoey might still drop by often, crash at fuckface's apartment (that library is not a room) but I wonder how DPC is gonna implement her story in fuckface's everyday life to make her equally important as the other LIs.
maybe he'll just make her a sidegirl and not a real LI?

Also I think he's putting way to much into her with this interlude not to make her a LI though she wasn't in the spoiler with Quinn being added to the relationship status at end of chapters.

Anyone who roleplayed with Maya in EP8 will remember that the MC plays the receptionist. He says at the end that it's spicy gossip for the receptionist's ears again. At the end of EP8, there is a receptionist standing next to or in Burke's building. Who knows what this woman knows. Hopefully there will be a freeroam event where the MC can talk to this receptionist.

Her age and school finishing is up for speculation also looked and she left over a year ago not 6-5months and she's just had zero contact with MC in 6 months as they lost touch.

And yes if your a chick character you're forced to turn her down/ stand her up she threatens to fail you and snubs you at prep party. I believe these interactions are unavoidable but maybe if you tell Derek no way you'll try to bang a teacher it doesn't happen but on my chick play throughs you stand her up when you go home with Maya and Jose and she snubs at prep party. Or of course you turn down her handjob and she threatens to fail you.

I think so, because if Quinn cannot be elevated to main LI status, then how can this reward be given to Zoey who currently has even less (non-flashback) emotional framework? I think rather she will be an important to the story side girl such as Jade. At this point, I just don't see DPC altering the original 5 girl main line up.

It is difficult to bring in girls halfway through the story and expect them to be main girls. BaDIK's strength is its large, interesting cast of available girls, but this can also be a weakness if it spirals out of control. Every additional character means less time to spend with each, not to mention more writing complications. The more you add the "less" you get. This has to be the largest cast of fully fleshed out characters I have ever seen in AVN. DPC storyboard must be starting to look like the longest equation in the world.

also, I've said this before, it's been 8 full episodes of making our minds up about a certain "main path" or our most liked LI. all of a sudden, there's this new chick that fuckface has history with and we're supposed to care for her? can't say I'll be as interested in her story as I am in josy's, maya's or sage's (for instance)
imagine this:
somewhere down the road you get to a situation like at the end of ep8 where you have to pick one girl. pit zoey against any LI you like. she doesn't stand a chance, does she?
sure, things will change a bit after you get to "meet" her in the interlude and later episodes but I doubt it will cause you any serious trouble in picking your old preffered LI over her.

You can just not accept her avances in the classroom and you never get to any date with her, she just fumes a bit and warns you you're on thin ice and threatens to fail you. That much is unavoidable.

I believe the Burkes will give Maya a scholarship Jade would be all for it. The real question is Stephen will he want to give Maya a scholarship and is there going to be a catch? Since Jade knows Stephen has fuck at least three students is he really going to try it again maybe or could Jade want to set a trap and use Maya as bait? But the real drama won't start until after the meeting when Sage, Maya and the Burkes walk in on Josy and MC having crazy wild sex I mean come on look at her she looks soooo fucking beautiful you would have to be gayer then Chad not to fuck her
