as for PhillyGames, I played both of his game, one of them is incest , so yeah. and no he is not only behind DPC by just the music. The renders are more or less in the same level, it's really just different girls. But the animation is nothing compared to DPC, but thats not a hars critism, becasue obviously DPC has better equipment.
and the writing, well, I stopped playing, so he was not able to hold me. I only like Kate , he has this tendencies, that not every girl is in every episode, so basically you can wait for half a year, for a scene with Kate.

Of all my playthroughs I've only done it once, on my blind Sage run, when the episode released. All others I just skip pursuing Bella, or pick Cathy, so she breaks up with Fuckface.

I guess it depends on how you see her if you wish to pursue her or not? But regarding her choices, I don't think they will have much impact again it will be all down to the players choice (MC)

I imagine the majority of your and my posts probably only get read by 5% or less of the dudes/dudettes here.
The Interlude, as an interlude by nature, was a departure from the main game. But in reality it was just a character backstory (like the ones we've seen for Maya & Josy, Jill, Bella, the DIKs etc.). The only difference was we influenced some of Zoey's decisions.
I'd say that's it, we won't be controlling Zoey from now on.
On that note, I think "Female Protagonist" should not be in the tags for the game, because you make probably about 10 decisions for her in about 60 minutes of gameplay vs the hundreds of decisions and 10s of hours spend as the main dude. It's misleading and possibly detrimental to the game. Still, not many people are gonna give a fuck.

She was just MC as a one-off for the Interlude it will be back to the normal MC in Season 3
Well yeah, she is only interested in the MC so it will be only him that she goes for.
As for the tag, I guess so you got to give the audience a bit of a heads up about what is involved. Although you could skip the Interlude and then that tag wouldn't matter.

If you look at those who skip the interlude at least they will wait 9 months if chapter 9 comes out in August hopefully but they will have to wait 9 months to press control in the interlude

It will be part of the download now for episodes 9 through to 12. That means the "Import" button will always be there.
It's not like they will have to be redirected to download the Interlude separately.
So we'll just have a repeat of people asking for the export from Season 1 & 2 again and all the associated confusion that we've already seen, the same as we had for the Interlude, but possible with less hate.

The only devs from the ones that you mentioned that are better than DPC are Drifty, Notty and Stone Fox Studios. Another better writer than DPC is NLT. All other devs that you mentioned are below DPC's abilities as writers, with the exception of Oceanlab, who is on an equal level as him, but he fancies himself more as a writer than a game dev so much, that he released 6 updates in 4 years and now is spending his time reworking the game.
I'm not a DPC fan and I consider him an average writer, but you are talking as if DPC is such a shitty writer that he is on Slonique (literally the same game every time with different models), Gumdrop (ecstasy fuelled writing VN, which makes no sense at all) or Tremmi (VN with short updates that goes on way too long and you lose the plot) levels of a writer.

NLT? Do you mean NLT media, the creator of TON? I wouldn't consider him a good writer. The stories usually slow down towards the last 30 % of all his games. And the end of TON wasn't that great either. They make super good renders, super good animations, generate good LI and a great game atmosphere, no question about it. But I would rather see the storytelling as the biggest weakness, there.
I played through TON once and had enough of it. I could play BaDik over and over again, once across all routes. So, DPCs writing is really worlds better. My opinion.
Since y’all talking about writing, I have to get rid of a theory about the Sage & Quinn lewd scene. I’m pretty sure DPC made allegorical references to the union of Eros and Thanatos. Indeed, Freud proposed that humans are driven by two conflicting central desires : life drive and death drive.
The life drive deals with basic survival, pleasure, and reproduction. Eros (the life drive/instinct, libido) is concerned with the preservation of life, it thus appears as basic needs for health, safety and sustenance and through sexual drives. It seeks both to preserve life and to create life. Eros is associated with positive emotions of love, and hence pro-social behavior, cooperation, collaboration and other behaviors that support harmonious societies.
On the other hand, Thanatos (the death drive/instinct) is associated with negative emotions such as fear, hate and anger, which lead to anti-social acts from bullying to murder (perhaps as projection of the death drive).
