The most truthfull answer is : we dont know yet, but 'probably' the best way for relationship Sage should be : No fuck buddies and start Sage path at the HOT party.

But as of now, as far as I know, fuck buddy or not leads to the same result, it's just that if you turn her down once, she praises you at the Prep party thingy for being a great guy, who doesnt fool around with girls who are in a relationship already.

Actually, the "Rebound Guy" discussion with Sage only happens on the fuck buddy path. If the MC is just friends with her he gets a different conversation where she flirts with him and invites him to the HOT party.

Oh, I did not know that, Well I see now while Kellerman is upset then . It does not make sense, are you saying me that on the Friendship path MC dont say to Sage, that She just came out from a Relationship, and he does not want to be a Rebound Guy ? Because he know how those people end up.

I was under the impression, he did this because that's the Safe option. If we add to the mix that I went with Jill, and despite MC confess his feeling toward Jill, he then wants to be more with Sage too, then yes, its kind of messed up scene.

Which is why I think it's better if he learned from this, and stick with the Decision he gave us, in episode 8 and stick with it.

He made a statement in the walkthrough, that from now in its Jill Branch, Sage Branch, Bella Branch, etc etc. and if you don't have successful relationship with Main girls than MC rejecting them, or they rejecting him, and he is friend zoned. And Now he Brings Zoey in the mix. Will see, but interesting information for sure. I don't have "Friendship" path with Sage, so yeah,
