But my whole point is that in the preceding episode DPC went out of his way to make the MC object to Sage treating him as just a chance for spontaneous sex. Yet here he's suddenly willing to initiate a meaningless threesome with her and Quinn, even though in a couple scenes he'll be right back to insisting on a real relationship with her (assuming he picks her at the crossroads, obviously). That's not a character arc, that's a haystack.
The fact this is the first full-fledged threesome with an LI is all the more reason it should have been handled properly, not sloppily implemented just to keep up the titty count. Much like almost everything else supposedly leading up to that blasted crossroads, I like the idea but hate the execution.
I went with Evan for my main. For my alts: Ace, Leroy, Jean, Tim, Romio, Cam, Ferdinand, Westly, and Quintus.

I enjoyed the mansion mini-game, once I figured out the basic mechanics for it. Almost failed to complete it first time around, but the second playthrough (first on my new PC) managed it without issue.
Hopefully the party-planning gets a mini-game as well.

You basically take control (minimal) of a female LI that's going to be a bigger part of the story starting season 3. She's not an MC. (Unless you consider that she is the MC of her own story). It's the MC's ex's back story from when they separated up to the current time of the MC (end of season 2). It looks like she's coming back into the MC's life.
Think of it as Rogue One to Star Wars i guess?

Having looked at what has transpired, my mind was going down this line as well, and it would in fact make the plan more obvious from the start, if DPC is using stereotypical USA events as the humor clue here. Was he not referred to as a 'fast shooter'? What are US law enforcement pretty well known for worldwide these days? To me (as a resident), it seems like they fire their shots pretty quickly where minorities are involved.Maybe the stalker was supposed to be investigating the DIKs, but flunked the Cum Petition and was then sent after Riona. In EP8, he is on the phone with his supervisor to file a report, but is interrupted by the MC. To avoid being exposed, he says, so he stalks Riona.
On a personal note, though, Dalli- I've read most of your other posts, you really need to stop using the apostrophe so much. It never makes a word plural. You're not the only person guilty of it, it has just been standing out more and more lately.

That is fact, not speculation. DrPinkCake has even published (on Patreon) a hint at the mechanics. It will involve assigning people to tasks and balancing resources. It's on this thread somewhere, but good luck finding it.

Okay, found it. Here's an excerpt from his Patreon Update post of March 18:
This entire concept of developing a feature ahead of time is something I will apply again but to something new and fresh. Meaning that the code I write during episode 9 development will have to work for future episodes and the planned duration.
This might sound like I will be spending a long time creating a new mini-game, but since I'm part human and part machine, I've already finished ~90% of it. And to me, it's the most fun, challenging, and intricate mini-game I'll probably create for this game... Probably... I fucking love creating these things.
I'm aiming to set up the framework for the mini-game so that development after episode 9 will be a breeze in this area. The mini-game will be about something the game has hinted at during episodes 7-8, namely party planning.
I'm still polishing and balancing the mini-game, but I'm confident that any player who likes thinking, planning, and strategy will enjoy it. The choices and how you play the mini-game will also shape your game in different and exciting ways.
For non-mini-game players, there will be choices instead of the mini-game, allowing for similar outcomes.
While I'd love to show you the main mini-game GUI, I don't feel comfortable doing that due to spoilers and design. I will, however, show you the perk screen, which in itself might not say much about the mini-game, but it can give insight into how versatile your strategies will be this time around.
The perks and the design are subject to change as this mini-game is still a work-in-progress.
Something I wish I did more of with the mansion mini-game was the perk system; it's something I enjoy a lot in RPGs and character building.
So, this time around, I spent time designing a perk system that offers versatility in how you approach the mini-game. I won't spoil more than this, but I hope you look forward to the future of the series in this regard because I sure do.
