I originally assumed it was Lana for some strange reason. Age doesn't really wrk out, but if it were a resurrected Lana then we would know for sure Royces don't age well. Jill already looks 35, so Lana could pass for 50 if she secretly survived the offscreen DPC murder spree.

That incoorect assumption aside, I have to believe DPC will make Madame related (by blood or friendship) to someone in MC's circle, he just has to. The man cannot resist having so many character plot connections that it looks like a plate of spaghetti.

All I know about Madame Rose is that DPC created separate text files for her scenes in Episodes 7 & 8, much as he did for Dungeons & Gremlins in Episode 6. Why she deserved such special handling is beyond my comprehension. Nobody else gets such special treatment, unless you count Zoey getting an entire Interlude.

It would be so Funny if the moders will not be able to do that with the Branching storyline. I mean you have to load once a specific Save to play that specific path. I don't think it's gonna be as easy as just changing a variable, because those variable will not exist, only on that specific save file.

Wouldn't surprise me, DPC already tried to put an end to the mods. Thankfully there are a few good and persistent modders here.

But you ( and others who have all that time on their hands, do you ) different strokes for different folks and all that. Personally I really hate having to replay or mess about with a ton of save files just to see "slightly" different branching paths. It really doesn't make a game more replayable nor enjoyable.

Nah you can see when importing a save for the interlude it imports around 500 variables (not just game decision variables, it includes bios, unlocked gallery pictures etc). So should not be different to mod.

But personally I just use the developer console, impossible to detect, so DPC can't crash my game.

Yeah, I give you that one. that was a bit meh.
Still, the game is not intended to give you everything in the first. This makes the game good, you play one path , you don't have to immediately play the other. its just a fucking gallery, half of mine is still empty, because I'm just not interested in those .

But, anyway, I think the area of modded save allowing you to get everything will be over, with the Branching.

I have seen the view of her being Bianca's mother from Ilhares, which I lean towards Miranda; but I cannot bridge the two

Bianca and Miranda have some similarities, but limit your focus to the lower part of her face. The lips and nose, particularly. It's been 20+ years. She's gotten older looking, and she stopped bleaching her hair years ago. Best way to make money? Take it from people who want to throw it away.

Though from a more practical standpoint, I think DPC just put her in there to cater to people with severe mommy issues and as a cash sink. If we really just needed more women to bang at the club he could have opened up Brandi or the bartender, or arranged more chance meetings with some of the Swyper girls. Instead he gave the game the oldest(assumed) and least attractive that so far has only fucked the MC's wallet.

So what are all the hypotheses out there about Madame Rose Does her name indicate some unusual relation she has with the club? why has she kept her eye mask on so far? to hide her identity? and what would it be? why does she charge exorbitant prices for her services? and if she were to give blow job to a customer already, why should one have to pay extra for touching and sucking on tits? Why did DPC dedicated so much efforts to her model (those you haven't seen on Jill and Maya) and animations, all the details like visible delicate veins and spots on her skin and more advanced and realistic depiction about contours of her face?

Madame's model is similar to Nora's model, so Madame may be Nora, moonlighting in a strip club. Okay, this is a joke.
Madame will certainly play some role in the future, but their relationship is too fragmentary, and the sex scenes were not liked by the public, so I think we will not see Madame in a future update. And therefore, instead of Madame, there will be some other characters. Perhaps with the help of Madame, he decided to introduce a new mechanics of booty call, which will be especially relevant on such branches as Jill, where there will obviously be very few sex scenes. They will not affect the relationship with Jill, but will add variety to her path.

But what if it doesn't contain the variables in the first place? Yes your imported file contain all the choice you made until that point, but from that point, from episode 3. There is no more Affinity variables because its set in stone for that save file. If you are on Bella path, you wont even have the Quinn, or Sage, or Josy variables at all. Because now they all supposed to be separated.
May be there is a generic game file, that contain all and that can be manipulated, I dont know, how its works.

In fact, (usually) variables in save files are score points or booleans (true/false). There are other variables in programming (like strings of text), but I don't see why a savefile would need 'em. In fact, you can say that's all scorekeeping, since booleans are in fact 0 for false and 1 for true, so it's scorekeeping limited to one. Thus, first, the savefile contains all variables; second, for instance, when you're not in a path, those variables will be 0 (or the default value).
The savefiles have to be standardized otherwise conflicts will happen. One problem that happens and makes old savefiles unusable is when the dev creates new variables in an update and they're not in the old savefile, because Ren'Py launches an error when you try to read a variable that is not defined. So it's a good practice to do those import saves from time to time so you can do a cleanup, throw away what you don't need, and make a new savefile with only what's relevant and the new variables without conflicting with the other stuff.

Yes but not, I find DPC is very good at changing small dialogues here and there based on those decisions. So yes technically you are on Bella's path, but how will Jill react to that? Did you kiss her? Did you try or you never showed an interest?

So I don't see how you could get the same quality game if not all the variables were imported so DPC can do his magic.

Sometimes it's not even in the text, it's one look or a smile that is different from a character in the background...
