That's not out of the ordinary. A lot of times you have to wait in the hallway before the Doctor says "you can see the patient now" I had to wait in the hallway when my mother was getting surgery and when the nurse deemed she was ready after the surgery was done..

My thoughts on the preview. The MC has the so-called blank look. (No, I don't mean a reflection in the eyes) He looks to me as if he doesn't know what to do and can't think clearly. Something bad has happened, that much I think is certain. Either with Zoey, Tommy or Isabella.

Now I am not saying DPC can't repurpose assets and they end up being the same place, but so far I have yet to see any major kitbashing in Being a DiK. A color swap here, a logo there, but for the most part environments are almost 1:1 from the store.
Finally a preview we can actually discuss about for more than 10 minutes before going back talking about Jill's teeth.

This, and seeing how depressed the MC is, could really well be someone near him. He's in an existential crisis right there.

I like Tommy, he may be a 'great guy with a short fuse', but he's a great character overall.
And Bella... yeah, could also see that.
Damn, depressing scenarios, for sure. It's DPC, so it has to be expected.

So, based on the coat hanger, Josy, is also in the same place as Maya. So, Yeah, Maya and Josy, and Jill scene are not the same place, not the same scene, nothing to do with each other.
Question, is what is happening in the Jill picture, is exclusive "Jill branch storyline " or she is just there because of in this branch she is the girlfriend.

Yeah preach! People ascribe so many manipulative emotions to his actions. He have displayed none so far, the opposite in fact. His entire character is one of carefree obliviousness and just having fun believing everything people say to him. Theres no edge to him at all really.
This was my first spontaneous thought! But I dismissed it quickly after trying to think of the catalyst, the only one being the horrible scene with her at the kitchen table if rejected after being toyed with or it was something that was building up with the time spent with mc and their failed date. Would line up perfectly with MCs ominous words about a future event crying for help if he had known. But not every player would get the horrible kitchen scene, and if this is a Jill preview even pure Jill only people should get this scene as well. Then it dawned on me that Jill is not looking that distraught but the MC is. Jill should be the one most upset if it was about Isabella or at least just as bad as MC. So I dismissed it as low%. Too much if's and but's and maybe's.
My second was that something had happened to Neil or Zoey. Both of which are family. Yes in include Zoey there, MC have spent formative years with her and knew her family and Zoey knew MC's. They are damn close, and the very start of the game says its about family, and your family is the ones you include there and Zoey should out qualify EVERYONE but Neil at this point. Hell Zoey is so close to the two guys that she even went to visit Neil. Both of these two characters would be some excellent ways to spin some relationship drama.
Or theres something else going on. Im betting on something else for now with Neil/Zoey as the most likely behind.

Yeah yeah Jill had concerns about doing it raw but a scene at an abortion clinic is so out of place and the pregnancy test shows up regardless of who you went with and even if you bedded none of them. It just doesn't fit plus Jill is not concerned at all as she should be. This is about the MC and not about Jill based on the expressions. Shes supportive, and MC is in mild distress. Nothing really fits.

interesting the hypothesis of Neil's illness, the only doubt or where they admitted him.
if it was in Mc's hometown I wouldn't explain Jill's presence so much, ok she has the car, but still it would seem strange to me
