I didnt know DPC would screw you over like this but i guess im not really surprised.
The only save i have where ive skipped minigames and its the Others/quinn/manwhore one. And of course im no longer allowed to do all three activities, they cost 2, 2 and 5. Budget is 8. The fuck DPC?!
So the time have finally come, I need help. What variable do i change with the console open to re-enable minigames?
Edit: Ill be damned if i miss out on all three for no damned good reason in one playthrough. Im simply not replaying this Others path multiple times when i could do it once.

Anything can happen. I have the feeling that the whole pregnancy affair is the way DrPinkCake decided to dismiss a whole subplot and some characters (like Mona and Cathy). Did you notice that Chad and Troy vanished from episode 9?
Some antagonists aren't useful anymore (Chad, jocks, Dawe), and here he comes in the Real Bad Guy (Vinnie).

I will raise the problem of psychology in your second paragraph. Yes, people generally do not see the whole picture of what is happening. Here the situation is this: people have been waiting for the development of the script for a very long time - they got a little different, the episode is almost entirely dedicated to the party. And they got angry. "How is it? We waited so long to find out about Cathy Cluck, Bella's closed door. What links Lynette and Royce, and other secrets! And we just get a party?"
Whereas a person who only yesterday discovered Being a DIK, playing all nine Episodes at once, will not notice anything. He will say: "Cool party!".
It is a matter of perception of the situation of two people who find themselves in different conditions.

Wooah, how did you get this? In ALL my playthorughs I always convinced JamJam to leave his gf, but I ended up having them together at the party, and he let Leon down.
You can pick telling scary stories as one of the activities. And/or pick drinking competition instead of body shots. This will bring the total cost down to 6-7, so within your budget.

Worst... Party... Ever...
Couldn't agree more with all you've said... And I'm not even one of those cases that like the game despite free roam and minigames, au contraire, after the setup of season 1, my favorite parts of the game in season 2 have been the parties, and I prefer sandbox games over stricto sensu VNs.
But this party was a drag...
The game started well, and the Visiting the Burkes part was really fun (at least for those on The Others path), but the party was just grind...
And, people, don't get me wrong. The formal aspects of the game are well done as always and look quite professional; the sex animations, for the most part (and when they happen), are very good. The problem with it, though, is that in other parties we had some freeroam, than action, some freeroam, than action, and so on... In this one, we had to endure everything just to have a payoff in the end... And even in The Others path, though we have three scenes, they are branched; and after you see the first one of your choice, the others feel like porn because they're not immersive anymore (in the sense you're just seeing what you've missed, like in an alternative reality)...
Besides that, I think that when played as a whole, this episode wasn't harmful, and those who'll play the entire season from Steam will enjoy it. It was for us who've been waiting that was disappointing... On the other hand, if the episode 8 was frustrating for DIKs, it was good for those who like romantic paths. This one, after the long waiting and as a standalone, runs the risk of not pleasing anyone (except those that liked the party per se)... For me, I wouldn't say it was a bad experience, but I was expecting more of it.
As for the romantic paths, I don't know why those who prefer them are not fuming, because it was kind of a non-event for them that party...

I'm on Bella's path right now and that was 20 minutes ago. I want to see Derek's face in Episode 10 when Bella beats Derek tricks during classes. He just told her all the secrets. Derek-Derek, such a comedic relief.I respect that feeling, but almost all of the people complaining
1. Stole this product
2. Have no capacity to make a game themselves and thus, no idea what kind of work goes into it. It's simply entitlement.
3. Can't even point me to a game that's equivalent or a dev who does it better.
They ignore the fact that this game just gave them a dozen sex scenes, a bunch of great character development, so fun dialogue and a enjoyable few hours FOR FREE and instead focus on the fact that they didn't get what they thought should be in there. I know people like this in real life, and they are miserable assholes who are never satisfied, so they try and ruin things for others, because if they can't be happy*, no one should be.
Look how much content we just got.
