I disagree with most of this. I think she's "coming out of her shell" whether or not she's in a relationship with MC. The banana suit is just her sense of humor (I thought it was hilarious and adorable).

Neither suit is really a "comfort zone" thing. She says multiple times how stupid she feels wearing the banana suit, and she's noticeably self-concious about the bee suit at the start of the party (which I think was chosen by Bianca). In both costumes though, Jill has fun at the party.

And I think whether or not she's in a relationship with MC, the motivation for why she chose to go to the party is probably mostly because she's sick to death of Tybalt annoying the fuck out of her.

One thing I do agree Jills banana costume makes for one hell of a good profile picture to use

The vanilla way to do it is to go reload your sage path save before the breakfast with Elena and Heather in CH8. You should be able to select Others.

If you want to cheat though, change the variables to branchSage = False and branchAlone = True. That might do it.

What I have to do, so I can play again from the EP8 and choose another path? Or at least to start from the beginning EP9, but to change this on the screen? Where to find this?

Since this update was just a huge free-roam. Has Dr.P mentioned anything about the next update or the future of the plot in general?

DPC said in his update last week that we will hear from him again after the new year. So that means next Friday (January 6). Based on how this has gone down previously, he won't provide many specifics about the story, but may offer some general hints as to his approach for episode 10. He will also do his (now annual) Q&A with Patreon supporters, who will submit questions to him. He'll pick the ones he wants to answer and answer them, probably the following week. Again, based on previous Q&As, he won't give any spoilers or anything, but he may address questions about lengthening development times and other potential concerns, as well as answer very broad questions about the future of the game.

My speculations: the next episode is likely to be 8 or 9 months away, give or take a month. The next episode is likely to be more story-focused. DPC spent a lot of time and effort to develop the party planning minigame, so it is a safe bet that we will see it again, but we probably won't have another party (at least not a big one) until episode 11 or even 12, perhaps as some kind of season finale.

DPC has said he doesn't know how many total episodes the game will be, though he estimated 4 seasons. Whether that is still the best estimate is hard to say, but he has also said that he keeps expanding the episodes to include more and more ideas that he has. For this reason, I suspect we are not as far along in the story as DPC expected to be when he first answered that question. So either the game will require more episodes or he will need to start paring down the story to be able to conclude it after 7 more episodes.

Anyway, it's interesting to think about what he's thinking and planning, but ultimately my only hope that is that the game gets completed. If DPC is making as much money as it seems he is, he could come to the conclusion that he just doesn't need all the headaches and hassles and retire.

Go to the Renpy save folder and delete BaDIK's persistent file to delete it
and go to %appdata%/roaming/renpy folder and delete persistent too

Depends on whether you want to abolish S1/S2 or S3. Instructions for both:

For Season 1 / Season 2 - If you want to start from scratch, like you've never played before you need to do two things:​

Delete your persistent file from both:​

the "game/saves" directory AND "AppData/Roaming/RenPy/BeingaDIK-1535311494".​

Alternatively you can delete those folders entirely which will remove the persistent files and your old saves.​

For Season 3 - If you want to start from scratch, like you've never played before you need to do two things:​

Delete your persistent file from both:​

the "game/saves" directory AND "AppData/Roaming/RenPy/BeingaDIKSeason3-Patreon-1535311494".​

Alternatively you can delete those folders entirely which will remove the persistent files and your old saves.​

That's it. Done. You're now starting as if it's a reset, removing all known RenPy hard personal data that the VN was ever played before. While your at it try playing fresh with SanchoMod, link in my sig. Regards.

I mean you could have the same effect by making her dance having her sweat and her having to remove the bee costume I could think of other ways of going on about it I just had a hard time taking her seriously with how goofy she looked in the banana costume

The juxtaposition was meant to be the goofiness of her costume shows her outward personality, and what she was wearing underneath was not under the bee costume. I loved it.

At least Josy and Maya have each other, Maya also has Derek and Josy her father for support.

Quinn has noone and will likely never open up again (and use even more drugs). If you didn't pick Others, her bios update in ep 9 will say she got mad, even though she puts up a brave front and doesn't really show it.

the ninth chapter is structured quite differently from the others, evidently the mod you use has some problems handling this. are you using the latest version of the mod updated for the ninth chapter?

She is literally written as a narcissistic psychopath. She potentially can change during the story, but as of the end of Ep. 9 she is a narcissistic psychopath.

She underestimates danger (her whole criminal "empire", including getting mugged). Manipulates and uses others for her own gain without remorse (pimping out her "friends"). She sees any show of feelings and affection as weakness and consequently suppresses her own (sitting with her on the bench, just as one of many examples). If her friends question her, she doesn't reflect about what they are saying, she immediately takes them down on a personal level (telling Riona that she will never finish college, even though she had no problems passing classes so far) and/or lies about them (Riona's alleged free-loading).

Just look at the costume competition in Ep. 9. Literally EVERY pick of hers is just to humiliate or mock someone.

All that has nothing to do with me liking or not liking her. She is probably one of the most interesting and best written characters in the whole game, but she is still an evil character and for most paths one of the antagonists of the MC....again AS OF EP. 9. And yes, her "path" might hint towards her changing a bit if the MC goes down that path.

That's what I tought at first. She acts like a psychopath until she starts falling for the MC. Psychopaths don't fall for people like that, and it doesn't look like she's pretending.

This one actually does make a lot of sense especially how brutally cold she is to DIK MC at the party.

Is she? I didn't notice.
