Honestly, I feel like the game tells you it's red flag, because not because she's a teacher but she's broken woman in a shitty marriage. Like that whole scene with her throwing she at her husband, then her confession about her husband sleeping with Cathy (Which I think happened because if you're in the Bar in ep.6 you're see Jade & Cathy, Cathy was feeling guilty about something she did to Jade and why doesn't Jade hates her for it).

Then the whole sex scene was great storytelling on for showing how frustrated she was and how later on how guilty MC feels to have second thoughts on not showing the video.

Showing the Video to DIKs & then her husband see it will hurt Jade more than rejecting her afterwards because not only you used her but you lied to her. Even Mr. Burke side eye MC after Tybalt talked shit. Dating Sage while after doing all that will blow up in his face because The DIKs figured out MC fucked not only Jade but Sage as well.

Then there MR. Burke who have evident on MC to break up with Sage and do whatever he wants. I have feeling he isn't super mad about the cheating because he cheated on her many times and probably won't tell her about it until shit gets worse.

There is no need that all girls, including teachers like Bella or good girls like Jill dress like whores and are always showing her underwear, or sex in scenes where sex is not only not needed, but forced, just for the sake of showing sex. Or even unrealistic bodies like Bella's, just for showing huge breasts. I think Bella (and others) would be more attractive with more realistic bodies.

Other games need taboos, fetishes and extreme sex to generate interest, but the story and characters of this one is good enough, don't need than kind of cheap tricks. AL has a lot of flaws (IMO) including the ending, but doesn't fall in unnecessary sexual contents (If I don't remember it wrong, it has been years since I played it). I don't get why DPC overdoes the sexual contents in this one.

It's literally Checkov's Gun, it will be used at some point, probably to injure someone rather than kill them, the point is that there's some problems that can't be solved by being good at fighting.

I hope you're right, because I think things are escalating too fast. The MC didn't even want to be part of the DIK's, he just wanted a place to sleep... how did he end up having a gun pointed in his face?

No, I do not think that is the case. Vinny pulling out his gun is part of his characterization. He is indeed dangerous.

The overuse of sex scenes is probably a consequence of what many of DPC's patrons ask of him.

It started in episode 1, with those dreams with Jade and Cathy. DPC decided, for some reason, that this game would be way more sexual than AL when he was still doing AL (he said he started BaDIK before finishing AL) and patrons didn't even know that this game would exist. It's OK, but I think that this game would be better if it were a bit more realistic in sex contents, characters and plots.

I think it's trivial to complain, for example, about Bella's size (I find it weird too) nine chapters in. As for the 'overdose' of sex scenes, sure - it can be a lot, either way, it's clear that this game has a vastly different tone from Acting Lessons. Furthermore, the college trope plays a large factor in the premise of the game, so all the lewd content is kind of to be expected. Either way, I've never once felt that the game had too much lewd stuff, tbh. In fact, I think that as the game progressed, the amount of what I consider, 'overdose of lewd content', such as the dreams in the first episodes, have been handled much better.

To be honest, the only real issue I can see with having much lewd content in the game is that the time DPC spends on it is time that could be invested in the story and the characters. The balance of both approaches is still OK IMO though. Although I would be lying if I said that I would not prefer having new episodes of the game released more often.

I don't have enough memory to compare the games with each other, but in the end we are talking at most about 2 sex scenes per LI, with a few rare exceptions.

Taking into account the large number of girls who have space in alternate chapters, I think it's normal that LIs have this privilege

This doesn't really have much to do with how I feel about the lewd scenes, but just gona throw this out there. So far, Being a DIK really sets itself apart on many levels. For starters, the investment in the story itself is already far above what I had initially expected out of the game. But one thing that just keeps sticking out to me (pun not intended, but there it is anyways lol), is that the musical track selection is soooo damn good in this game. DPC has such a talent for picking the right music to set the mood of any scene.

I've played many other (a)VNs, some which I actually enjoyed just as much if not more (IE Chasing sunsets, leap of faith etc) for being more serious in tone and theme, but they don't come close to the soundtrack of B.A.D. I've downloaded almost every song/instrumental.

I just can't get enough of it. <3
