I don't really think it will be a scene for the next episode, for me it's just a way to explicitly show the background of the game or of some characters.
You may have noticed (if I'm not mistaken) that none of the images on the menu are in the game
Those images aren't in the game, but some do represent events from the game, like these ones

So it's entirely possible, and probably very likely, that the Quinn render is referencing a scene that we'll see at some point this season. DPC has said before that the big, pivotal scenes and events are planned out much further in advance, so perhaps this is one of those that's being hinted at.

Indeed, I think you're right. But this picture is much darker compared to the others and it stood out after five episodes under the sun!

Yes, but isn't Quinn's image the only one to appear before the scene it should be in? Or were some of the menu images present before the episode in question? I only played the game when episode 4 came out so I didn't pay attention

Not the images themselves, but the scenes are, like the jocks' party with Arieth being all over Caleb. There's a couple, that one, Sage in the sauna, maybe Sally's scene which are more likely previews of next episode. I think all past intro backgrounds have been of some recognizable scene sooner or later.

Technically, the DIK flashback render, the Jock party render, and the Bella/Jill yoga render, all appear before you've seen them, the only difference with the Quinn render is that it might be 1 or 2 more episodes away.

It just seems like a very ominous image to put into the main screen for it to not mean anything, especially when you add in the fact that where she is isn't anywhere we've seen in the game yet. Makes you wonder why DPC would spend such time using new assets, including Quinn's hoodie and the rain effect, if it was just for this one render that means nothing.

So that might be a huge clue about her

Would be a cool cliffhanger ending to an episode; seeing Quinn meet up with some shady individual whose name is just a series of question marks (????), and when the scenes ends we still don't know who it is.

So it was all miscommunication on their end, and wrongful understanding on my part "initially" I mean, how can you pirate something that's freely available, by the owner to allow it, to be downloaded? It's a serious contradiction.
The post you're referring to was from early in development, it's not really free at this point (but understandable you could be mislead by his previous statement).

I never mentioned this is the site that I got it from, but even the creator is on this site posting how it's available for others. so wtf did I do wrong?
DPC isn't on this site anymore (at least publicly), he hates f95zone because it pirates his not free game and he was hounded by some people who didn't like how his previous game panned out.

Except it's not "freely available" is it? At least not by design. It's only here by the good graces of someone who is a patron, but they paid to be able to download that game as did thousands of others so it's not like DPC is doing this for no profit.

Just because you can pirate something and get it for nothing doesn't make the nature of it "free". This is still a for-profit game just as a movie or computer software is for-profit even if you can download it for nothing off of a pirate site. There is no contradiction here, just a failure to understand how this works.

Standard corporate greed my friend. It was on this site to get fans/support cause he needed it. Now that he doesn't need it he hates the site LMMFAO.

I see that now. You know I found this game on this site "first." I didn't know wtf it was. I just thought cool, graphic novels about hot girls and a fun story. Then I started seeing posts on diff versions and then I started looking into it and some moron said to buy the steam and I did, and that's when shit got weird. Because the steam version is apparently 0.4.0 Which is not what I got from here. So I didn't know asking for the latest stuff would get me banned, that's just stupid. I bought your game, I was gonna buy it again, but now they had to go and fudge it up so now they can kiss my ass.
Not meant as criticism so take it with a grain of salt. Read the fine print. FYI Steam will only get the full season releases and we get the episode releases due to TOTALLY AWESOME PATRON sneaking us the updates. Don't feel bad either way. I was a Patron of DPC's for a long time but stopped when I felt I wasn't getting my moneys worth. The game is good but after I added it all up and realized I could have bought several AAA games and had much more enjoyable content from them then I was getting I dropped him.

Again, where on this site does it say people's crap is pirated? And when I see the "CREATOR" have a post on being ok (apparently at one point) with downloading, there's no violation. Now since it's not updated, I simply assume the best in people and that's all this was. Clearly I was wrong, so chill with the hostility unless you understand what the problem was. Maybe someone should delete Drpinkcakes post then if this isn't FREE
This site contains tons of paid and even licenced content available to people for free, it is the very definition of a pirate site. Yes, some devs are on this site and even actively engage with the people here, but that's because it's a good way for them to market themselves and their game to hopefully gain patrons to help finance the creation of their game.

Some are totally fine with people here playing their game for free because they make enough from Patreon that it doesn't matter, and others are just happy that people enjoy their game, but that doesn't mean that people aren't still playing something that was paid for by someone else and then distributed here, which is still piracy by the legal definition.

DPC was here for a while for the same reason, to promote their games, but then they got a lot of flak for what they did in Acting Lesson so they got pissed off and left, and now they don't like the fact that people play their game for free because of the criticism they received here. So just because they were OK with it once doesn't mean they're still OK with it. They can't really stop it, but it doesn't mean they have to like it.

I see that now. You know I found this game on this site "first." I didn't know wtf it was. I just thought cool, graphic novels about hot girls and a fun story. If you were asking DPC why the Steam version wasn't the 0.5 version, then I can see how you got banned. A patron would know why the Steam version is 0.4 not 0.5, therefore you must have found the latest Patreon version on a pirate site and DPC doesn't like that.
