you realize this is a pirate site right ? you do not have to play nice just because they ask nicely does not mean you have to comply with said request its whole point of this website to begin with to leak/pirate porn games/VN but i get it but if it were me i have ZFG so i would leak it just because i could or would do so as i have with other games before hand but thats me though . but at same time you should of not said you had it to leak to only backtrack/reneging on leaking for everyone that is cruel in of itself for some on here just saying so if you respect the dev that much at least respect your fellow pirates on here also is all. in future just leak it if you have it or don't and if you have it do not tell any of us out of respect

I agree with the bit about how they should've just kept their mouth shut rather than backtracking. That said, this site exists in a symbiosis with these devs. The devs themselves would no more exist w/o this site than this site would exist w/o these games. That said, if they want to hold an update back for a bit, there's no reason why we can't oblige. If you're consistently hitting monthly/bimonthly updates, I'd be completely ok with them keeping us an entire update behind. When your updates are taking 6 months? Not so much. Every dev starts off targeting 3-4 months per update, do it pretty well, then they start slipping. A few udpates down the road and a year is the new standard, they've gone from doing this as a gig to doing it full time and crying that they need time off to prevent burnout. Then you hear them talking about how they took a month off because they got a cold, wasted 5 months of development due to a death in the family, AND they've taken 3 separate vacations since they got back to development 4 months ago. You hear them talk about how they took a week off while they wait on a power cable to be delivered despite the fact that their current rig is sitting right there, fully functional, and will continue to be used even long after this new cable and work center is set up. Or we'll hear about how they just spent 3-4 months completely rebuilding the code for the mini-games everyone has been complaining about since day 1 rather than working on new content.
I'll happily concede devs the time to make a profit, but since I can pick a dev at random and they'll have bullshit excuses like what I listed or worse, my goodwill doesn't stretch that far any more. Several of the excuses I've listed have been used by individual devs. It reminds me of some of the stories from devs in the mid 90s. Forget who it was, but a AAA studio released 3 games in I think it was 97. The first one took 6 weeks, won GotY and made them roughly $300mil. The next two took about 8 weeks each and made tens of millions of dollars. And that was a studio of 12 people who made nearly $400mil. They worked for 5 1/2 months and took the other 6 1/2 months off. That's the type of work ethic these AVN devs that go full time keep showing. The moment they start developing full time, they forget they're getting paid to develop a fucking game.
