You can choose to play as a black man or a white man. (That's the only difference, there is no change to anything else).

I remember playing this in 2021 after it came out. At that time it was a sandbox with a quest system, if I remember correctly. For example a quest to change the moms work outfit.
Is that no longer the case?

there is no difference at all, the version difference occurred because the dev released v0.20a dark skin after all the bugs from v0.20a light skin were resolved (v0.20c light skin no longer has any bugs)
