Could you have clicked the wrong space because I just tried both of the links and they worked for me.
Just checked Akanoes' patreon, the dude is working on some Teen Titans game called XIX and is also fucking around with making ai art. So it's no wonder there aren't any updates for this game, Newman is just the artist, Akankes is the coder. I would highly suggest to Newman to work with someone else. (At least that's how much I could see, I'm not paying for his patreon.)
At this point it's naive to believe either of them care about anything except getting some scraps from Patreon
One of them recently said on the Discord that when then update drops, it'll be normal sized and not something, you know, big enough to justify FOUR YEARS of no visible progress

Like I said, at this point one could only hope someone makes a Chaquetrix version given the potential the reimagined story could have with more alien waifus, it'd still be better than waiting for a dead horse to get back up, I would but eh, I'm no programmer. Though I'm honestly surprised there's still people paying the guy, the art I guess it's alright but it shouldn't justify the severe lack of updates, at this point I'm willing to believe the audience grew old enough that they forgot how to cancel their subscription.

I don't think this game will be updated, it seems more like the creator wants to make as much money as possible, it's not normal, it takes 4 years without new content, like he only uploads photos and designs, my theory is that he's working alone and since he saw that he won't be able to continue with the game, he wants to make as much money as possible. There's also a topic that never says why Razor takes so long to update the game, I apologize if it's not very clear, my language is not English.
It won't. Looking back this game had a bunch of red flags. It took like two or three years before they actually released a .01 that really had nothing in it (along with massive changes from what was originally pitched). But they were releasing like one of those art packs every month. Also the fact that Gunsmoke games dumped them while they were working with them was another huge red flag.
I supported both Newman and Akanoes back in the day, but I lost faith in them before .05 was released. It's a shame too, the art was good and the plot was interesting.

I can only hope that someone capable will take over this game or remake it into their own version.
Has the creators of the game thought about doing more games like this because I bet a lot people enjoy them
Even if they did they wouldn't get any support. They are still stringing people along about .06 update... in the time frame they should've finished the game.

You would be surprised/disappointed then, Summertime Saga is basically re-releasing things made years ago and rolling in the money for it. Never under-estimate what scammers get away, we live in an era where people pay full price to be beta testers for early access games.
Patreon is a grifters paradise.
There's a huge difference between Newman/Akanoes and Dark Cookie. Dark Cookie has basically finished Summertime Saga before he and his team started working on the tech/art update, which the game needed. Yes it's crappy that the tech update version of the game is missing content, but that content is still available on the pre-update versions of the game. Though I am still waiting on an update for Lucy!
Newman/Akanoes has been stringing people along for a decade now. They started working on the game in 2015, demo came out in 2016, took over a year for us to get a .01, and it was completely different from the demo. Then between 2017 to the last update in 2021, we got a total of eight updates; and I believe the furtherest the game goes is a blowjob, right?
I get that Dark Cookie has had years where he might get two updates out (before the tech/art update), but each update was a full character arc with all sex scenes. So yeah, Dark Cookie has basically finished the overall story for the game, but he has several characters that they haven't touched. I'm still waiting for Lucy's update!
Though you're correct, Patreon and sites similar to it, are a grifters paradise.
At least someone tried to tell them the truth, but like fools they defended him and even asked him to take more time.
