best game ever!!!
really? better than pacman? some would say it is chess or backgammon. some might even say a card game. personally i would have to consider even some more recent ones like call of shooty, which has spawned some very successful sequels, or something like borderlands 2, which i play often. even skyrim or new vegas would rate higher for me than this game and i doubt anyone who has played any board game, even monopoly, would rate this as the 'best game ever!!!'.

Updated my gallery mod code (v0.8.1mab2) to make it somewhat backward compatible with prior versions (i.e. older than 0.8.1). It should now only show the entries up to the version of the game. So it should work with the version 0.6.1 here.

Please give it a try and let me know if it does not work.

Really enjoyed the story, up until recently. Got to see the journey of a trans woman as she comes out, goes off to uni, and starts a new life as her true self.
Along the way she meets some cool characters, makes new friends, and goes through self discovery with the support of her best friend.

Then the person who has repeatedly been saying, throughout the entire story, that she is only attracted to girls, is suddenly smitten with boys and daydreaming/fantasizing about her best friend in a sexual way frequently. She's never shown a hint of interest in boys, at all; quite the opposite, she's shown no attraction or interest in boys whatsoever. Every time she's shown any interest in anyone it has been a girl, both cis and trans.
Now, all of a sudden, she is supposedly completely into a guy, who she has actively said she doesn't have feelings for through the entire novel.
Drastic shifts against type in characters, six chapters in, are off-putting. Sorry to say it completely ruined the story for me. Had the author decided to keep Emma as a lesbian, maintaining the interest in girls only that had been established and reiterated from the beginning, it might be different. Or even better, if there had been a choice for whether or not Emma would be interested, with a path for or against.
Changing a fundamental part of a character like that, for whatever reason, is frustrating at best, and as in this case, could be a complete dealbreaker.

If completely shifting a character like that doesn't bother you, then enjoy the story. It's well written, and an enjoyable read, up until that shift.
If, however, that kind of drastic personality shift would bother you, you may want to skip this one.

Played Michael's part so far. I will try Emma's story later but I really want to see how she feels about the "akwards" events.

I mean most trans girls are also interested in cis males.
So sometimes sexuality evolves and you have new interests.

Just saying, it happens ... you know people actual realizing they are attracted to another "gender" later on in their life.

Just saying, it happens ... you know people actual realizing they are attracted to another "gender" later on in their life.
So through her teenage years she realizes, and becomes, her true self, a woman, who at no point during that time has any interest in boys.

She is still very enthusiastically only interested in girls, something she confirms to her friends, family, herself, and the audience at every occasion, and yet within the course of a week she is suddenly head over heels about boys; supposedly one specific one. A person who she has known for years, spent tens of thousands of hours being very close to, so much so that they know each other better than anyone. Yet we are supposed to believe that she somehow is suddenly attracted to him, as though a switch has been flipped. Something that in all that time she has never even entertained the idea of being a possibility. That's ludicrous. That much time with that person, at some point she would have definitely thought about it, if it were indeed even remotely true.

She has continued to encourage him to be with women that she knows he enjoys being with, and is genuinely sorry for him when he breaks up with the girlfriend he loves. Despite all that, and every indication to the contrary, she is just all of a sudden sexually attracted to him, and whole internal monologues are devoted to that major inexplicable shift. Seems to me it's a plot device to throw in a "twist", and is completely out of place. It doesn't fit Emma's personality, anything we know about her, the history they have shared, her prominent sexual orientation, or any other aspect of the story.

It makes no sense, and ruined the story for me. If the female lead and the male lead simply remained, as the title suggests, Best Friends, rather than shoehorning in a romance between them which seems so out of place it halts the whole story, then I would have loved to continue reading. As it sits, I don't know if I can. I will probably continue to do so, in the hopes that the entire storyline of them being anything more than friends is summarily dropped (I can hope), but I'm no longer optimistic.
