It wouldn't be a problem if there weren't tons of forums full of white and asian dudes who create blacklists of pornstars who've worked with black men, or if the porn industry didn't relegate black pornstars to race-based sites. I think it's naive to suggest that editing a black character out of a genre that doesn't have many of them in the first place (blacks on blondes and black cucking comics do not remotely count) doesn't suggest some level of prejudice.
Something felt off as I was reading your post, so I'm going to try putting it in a syllogism:
Premise A. There are forums full of people who don't like interracial pornography (or black men specifically? Blacklisting means they filter them out of their searches, yes?)
Premise B. The porn industry relegates black pornstars (male and female?) to race-based sites
Conclusion C. Editing a black character out of a mostly-white genre (2d porn comics, or whatever this is a parody of?) implies prejudice
Ah, there's the problem--Premise B doesn't seem relevant. Or all that true; almost all of the sites I've used for porn for the last year have had
tags for the races involved (along with everything else, like whether or not someone's tits were fake), but they've included basically all the content on the same site. It's not like I had to type in a completely separate URL, unless I was mistaking your meaning.
Beyond that, I'm not saying that the anon or anons who edited this aren't prejudiced. I don't know. And I don't care. Because my experience on the internet, and with 2D pornography, has been that
shit like this doesn't matter. If you're just pointing out what you believe to be true, or arguing that we can't rule out the possibility that the edit was racially motivated, I can shrug my shoulders and respect your opinion. Because this is porn, I'm here to jack off, and everyone has problems pretty much everywhere in the world that are bigger than the ratio of black-to-white MCs in cartoon comics for adults.
I'm not sure what you mean by Blacks on Blondes, unless you're referring to IllustratedInterracial, and holy shit am I glad that's not common, but I'm assuming there isn't more of it because there isn't a greater demand for it. You'd primarily expect black males to be interested in black MCs, right? Because everyone likes a protagonist they can relate to? If you check the demographics of the places and people who produce the majority of the work we see (because I sure as hell haven't) you might find them underrepresented there, in the same way that women aren't represented much in construction, mining, or industrial labor fields. I'm pretty sure the developers and artists who put together a plot, character cast, and a list of scenes are going to start with their own preferences and then accommodate the interests of their backers or audience where they're willing and able to. If there aren't a lot of black protagonists, I think it's more likely to be the result of consumer and producer demographics than deliberate, prejudiced exclusion.
If it hasn't been made completely clear yet, I got tired of hearing about how everything is about race a long time ago. The references and memes in this edit, as well as the fact that
only the MC's race and dialogue (and backstory?) got changed leads me to believe this a thumb-in-cheek parody
of a parody that made it about fitness and "alpha"ness instead of just race.
