Windows. I downloaded it recently. I've had the same problem with a game called Hypnosis. The weird thing is that during the main menu the audio works and then also randomly for a crying baby during the story, those are the only two instances where there was any sound.

BSAA has only a few sound effects but as far as I remember no background music

Then you must have blocked it out, because that definitely happened. Thrice. We don't see it happening, just the results. In Chapter 5 Part 1, Maya goes to visit Hera and we see a skinned woman hanging by her feet. Then in Chapter 7 Part 1 there's a series of flashbacks, one where the MC meets Hera for the first time. Two women hanging by their feet; one with skin, one without. Hera hands him a knife and is about to teach him how to skin the other woman. In Chapter 9 Part 1 after MC has captured Hera, he goes to visit her (only on the corruption path) and it is revealed that the woman MC skinned was a distant relative of his. Don't think it was ever clarified more than that.

That sounds horrifying and gross lol, I don't mind the other kinks this game seems to have but is there a way to avoid those scenes? Not just in gameplay but like actually prevent those from happening in the story?

It's not a kink it's part of the story. A lot of what goes on here is dark as fuck.

I downloaded the compressed version today and the mod and when I played it I came to when Ethan is in his room for the first time and after answering the call I got

She's not her reincarnation; she's a descendant of Sophie's sister.
And after the fight at sea, Sophie was transported to another dimension. The place where he's going...
At least that's what he thinks, but they'll be reunited eventually.
I'm making a minigame about Ethan's past, but it would never be approved here. Especially because of what happens within a few hours of birth with Sophie.

OK, I didn't click on "Start Game" when entering the game, but went directly to the gallery, renamed and changed the character relationship, and found that the name did not change when entering the dialogue. After a while, I got an error message.

try using this. It was minor issue in my code. Also, I have added the forbidden option for relationships.

I tried, but it still didn't work. I opened the game and went straight to the gallery, where I was prompted to enter the protagonist's name. After entering it, I chose to disable the relationship. Although there were no errors, the protagonist's name remained the default, Ethan.
