You have the answer in your quoted post... what we have now or tomorrow, is beta testing aka is not ready for public release, and as well you have the actual release date that i assume is for patreon tiers so here can be on the same day or at the decided public release date.
Just to make it clear:
As of right now, I've released the initial beta to my beta testers. That includes people who are on my Alorine tier of support on Patreon, has one of their perks is access to the beta tester Discord channel. For anyone who might be considering being a $25 hero, please consider that this is a true beta. It's missing most of the animations, all of the audio, and almost certainly has a bunch of bugs. It also doesn't contain the new features that will be implemented upon real release. The beta testers know that their saves are likely to get broken by playing this release. Please don't be "that guy".
Anyway, moving on. The release schedule:
Hannah tier patrons ($20/month): Access on May 29th
Skylar tier patrons ($15/month): Access on June 2nd
Emily tier patrons ($9/month): Access on June 6th or 7th, depending on how refined it is
Player tier patrons ($5/month)/Steam/Itch.io: Update will go live on Steam and Itch on June 12th. EXISTING player tier patrons as of now will get access as well (I'm turning off new subscriptions to that tier today)

I MIGHT break it into two, but most likely going to be a complete game from the start.

but will you manage to pull it off this year still? will it be that small? If so that's very daring but we hope you're not pushing youself too much.It's actually meant to be a one shot full release
Projected timeline is 12-18 months, though I'm hoping to keep it in the lower range as I already have several character designs done, and part of the story.

I can say with great certainty: Yes. BTW 2 is assured if the current OG release nets USD$1M. He and I have discussed a number of potential projects, including a game possibly developed for UE instead of Ren'Py.

I'm so excited to play the final update when it comes out. I've been saving this game up for yearsIt's actually meant to be a one shot full release
But I have one question if you don't mind
as a monogamy player that does not like open relationships or cheating
And I also don't like forced sex scenes
Although I did not like having a forced girlfriend
I was absolutely relieved and surprised when I found out that this game had monogamy as an option
So my question is, does the next game you're working on also have monogamy as an option
for monogamy players like myself
And will any of the sex scenes be forced in the next game?
Just started this one. From the get go have to say its nice to see for once that MC has a hot girlfriend from the get go who doesn't either die or dump him in the first five minutes of the game but sticks with him throughout. Most games go that route for some reason, for plot i guess, so its nice to see something different for once. Doesn't hurt that she's so far my favorite either, redheads are my guilty pleasure after all
Player agency is important to me. While I know how Darkness and Desire will start and end, I have not yet fleshed out the juicy details. I can say that there will almost certainly be a solo vs harem route in it as well, but I cannot promise that.

There a reason why Skylar's boobs are bigger in later episodes? Personally don't think the change was necessary, don't get me wrong they look great but now her boobs are even bigger than Hannah's while before they were just slightly bigger than Emily's. Now my main girl Hannah doesn't have the best ones anymore
