I started a new playthrough and i get this when hitting chapter 4:

Code:
Full traceback:
  File "game/chapter04/04_01.rpy", line 22, in script
    show screen steambutton
  File "/home/discord/xxx/BetweenTwoWorlds-Chapter9-pc/renpy/ast.py", line 1968, in execute
    self.call("execute")
  File "/home/discord/xxx/BetweenTwoWorlds-Chapter9-pc/renpy/ast.py", line 1950, in call
    return renpy.statements.call(method, parsed, *args, **kwargs)
  File "/home/discord/xxx/BetweenTwoWorlds-Chapter9-pc/renpy/statements.py", line 349, in call
    return method(parsed, *args, **kwargs)
  File "renpy/common/000statements.rpy", line 647, in execute_show_screen
    renpy.show_screen(name, *args, **kwargs)
  File "/home/discord/xxx/BetweenTwoWorlds-Chapter9-pc/renpy/display/screen.py", line 1322, in show_screen
    raise Exception("Screen %s is not known.\n" % (name[0],))
Exception: Screen steambutton is not known.

While running game code:
  File "game/chapter04/04_01.rpy", line 22, in script
    show screen steambutton
  File "renpy/common/000statements.rpy", line 647, in execute_show_screen
    renpy.show_screen(name, *args, **kwargs)
Exception: Screen steambutton is not known.
Edit: Never mind, this is an issue with the compressed version and probably Bob69's fault.

Most of the choices are entirely superficial, as this game suffers from the same pitfalls many others do: they give you a bunch of choices that have no real consequences while at the same time denying choice in major moments that you'd probably like control over.
Another false review from someone who has absolutely no idea what they are talking about.

Remember folks, the choices in BTW don't actually mean anything. They don't lead to dozens of different possible scenes, outcomes, scenarios, or potential deaths of your friends. Nope.

The first several hours are a boring slice-of-life story without anything that'd really make you want to keep reading, especially because the weird grimoire gets introduced and promptly ignored to spend more time in very drawn out TTRPG sessions
Literally 30-40 minutes into the game, you're introduced to the antagonist. The book is talked about several times throughout the opening chapters. Guess he missed those parts while holding down CTRL.

I reiterate that there really needs to be some kind of competence test before letting people do reviews. Make sure people actually have functional frontal cortexes. Like, I have no problem with legitimate reviews that point out flaws, but those are incredibly rare. The vast majority of them are by people like this who don't actually pay attention, skip the majority of the story, and then complain about it not making sense. I wasn't at all surprised to see that he ONLY does bad reviews.

Wanted to wish ya a happy new year '25 Droosk, kinda writing a thank you note to all the Devs that made '24 memorable for me in terms of quality content and B2W especially Emily(yea it is a surprise as prefer her more than Hannah lol) certainly made the cut so just wanted to appreciate that and greeting you a successful year ahead!

No. There's no stealing of women. The shown characters aren't property of anyone. They seem to be free. MC looks also like a human not like cattle to me.
Calm down please. This is not my first language. I clearly could not put my thoughts into writing properly. I'm sorry if I offend anybody by writing it like that.

This will be my last render for a little while, as I've hit the halfway point on writing for the final chapter, which means it's time to start the art.

Enjoy :)
Wait, whaaa? Final as in final final chapter? or like S1 final chapter? :unsure:

Is this really nearing full completion?
