This is genuinely dogshit. Incoherent mess with crappy porn that takes 2.3GB for 10 minutes of play. But card game was alright.

I don't think this is RPGM; unlike those, this one doesn't run properly on LInux. The game starts and keeps running, but nothing visible or audible happens.

Hi everyone !
Im so sorry some of you experience bug or freeze. Some bug of RPGM I was unaware of. I made a fix, but I don't know if it works since I have no problem playing it on my computer.

Meh... Animated scenes are freezing as fuck... Unplayable as it is!
Can you help me and try my fix if it works ? It would help me a lot ! (I reduce the size to minimum)

To install just copy/past in the game folder and replace everything.

I don't know about RPGM working on Linux. I use RPG Maker MV and have an option to export to Linux version but I can't play test it since I don't have Linux.

the slave market quest and the one with Athena don't have a continuation in this demo?
Yes no continuation. I should have written "need further update" or something. I will be more carefull about unfinished quest next time.

Please do try! I'd appreciate it greatly!

If you send me a friend invite on Discord (user name 'Arikania'), I could playtest it for you. Also, I am in a chat group with some RPGM programmers. You may want to join us, and ask around why your game may be not working on Linux. My suspicion is that it has to do with the format of the artwork. Linux has issues presenting webp (or was it webm?)

But typically, the executables generated by RPGM are named 'Game.exe'. That's why I figured that it probably wasn't RPGM.

I tried the bugfix that you send here above, and I tried renaming the .exe to 'Game.exe'. Both producing no changes in the results.

God almighty man, who the hell puts in high res animations in RPGM?! It's unplayable. Renpy is the right engine for this game. Or if you really want to stay on RPGM then either make it static images only or use simple low size animations so the app can actually process those in less than TEN FUCKING MINUTES. That or try to find a way to optimize because holy hell, the most unoptimized shitty pre-alpha unreal 5 game works better than this. Did you even play your own game? It took me 25 minutes to reach that screenshot.

That aside, I really don't understand why this is made in RPGM in the first place. The style of the game, the design of features like moving between locations, everything points to a Renpy VN with a few RPG features. EVERYTHING. So why RPGM? Way I see it, it's like trying to make a sidescroller in Unreal 5. You can, sure, but that's not what the engine is built for, and the result will likely be, short of a miracle, buggy and oversized. Maybe I'm missing a few things, maybe I don't know about stuff that you want to add further down the line that's easier to do in RPGM, but as the game is right now, RPGM doesn't seem the engine for it. Simplify the art or change engine, that's my advice.

Strangely, the game runs smoothly on my Linux using Steam's Proton Experimental for an emulator. But Linux uses Vulkan instead of DirectX. Maybe that's the issue?
