I mean this is full on depression the entire time, I like it, but I guess its not for everyone. What I really dont like like is the lenght. I literally went through both chapters combined in less than 90 minutes. Like I get that this kind of quality takes time but uhh, maybe release 4 thousand renders at once instead of releasing like 45 minutes of content after 6 months of development.

And I know that kind of talk isnt exactly welcomed by devs but, at this point this really feels more like a proof of concept. Almost no decisions, just a peek at potential LIs. If I would go and sum up the story up until this point its that quite literally nothing happened. Consider me quite dissapointed, given by the amount of praise I read about this.

Did you understand that the character is dying of cancer and is in the hospital? Or do you expect the story to go back in time and show scenes in which the MC bangs his sick mother? Because as shown in the hospital scenes it's a presence.

Nope. It's not like there were only a few hundreds of hints and even plain obviously stated... must've somehow missed ALL the conversations the characters had about that. Joke aside, I personally think all the stuff with the mom's sickness is a lil exaggerated for a porn game and would've preferred she collapsed from working herself too hard to support her kids or something like that. It's why I said her beauty prior to her sickness (duhhh!!) was wasted.

I know the story was a real tearjerker from the get-go, but shit's exaggerated in some cases like the mom's, IMO. It reminds me a lot of Three Rules of Life and its shitty exaggerated, sometimes, pointless drama, even if this game is, thankfully, waaay better written, and you can check how many ppl have complained about that one becoming cringe with all the drama after the dev went too far with it. Hopefully, the same won't happen here too, but it's a possibility. Every character in this story is dealing with their own share of personal problems, which leaves less room for character development, build up with the LIs and all that stuff, and in some cases, this much heavy stuff can become a minus rather than a plus, as you can see

Which only proves my point... shocker. I never said the dev struggled to make money, considering this is the 2nd update he released so far, I said he could do better with a game this promising, and judging by his replies, he wants to do better too, cuz this type of hobby ain't cheap. He already complained about his PC being too old, imagine how happy he'd be if his GPU, PSU, SSD/Hard Drive died on him. This is a potential risk you always have to take into account if you decide to become a dev. Getting them repaired takes time, which slows down the development, or worse, he risks losing his assets and all the stuff he worked so hard on, like it happened to Deaf Perv, buying new ones costs a shitload of money. You do the math.

Btw, out of those 300 players on his discord you mentioned there, why do only 80 support him, if I'm wrong in my assumption ?? Do you pay him to work on the game, and if you don't, why won't you ??

That cameo almost made me jump in my chair. She's one of the most loved characters of any game for me.

Good lord the amount of crybaby virgins on this thread is ridiculous. If a game has something I don't like I might drop a review or 1 comment then bounce not spend weeks and dozens of comments crying about it.

I really loved the story. Chp 2 felt really short compared to chp 1 though. I know part was probably cause of rewrite and part c ause dev had more time for chp 1 so I just hope they don't get stuck in the cycle of re-write hell and just push forward.

I see game is now listed as multiple protagonist? Has this been explained by the Dev? I'm assuming Olivia will be the second protag?

Olivia is pretty and I get people being a little a little annoyed at the bait (she had a crush on him as a kid and its kind of hinted they aren't biologically related) but the MC has a ton of fresh options (Samantha sexy AF, Tattoo cripple sexy AF, redhead childhood best friend? Yes please) so overall I'm fine with no incest and her going her own lezzie way. The game sort of lends itself to multiple protagonists the way its framed about a family copying with tragedy and change it always felt less centered on just the MC.

Author just needs to ignore the Elliot Rogers fan club who don't even pay for the game (AKA incels with xXxXxX in their name ) and stick to their vision

I never thought about that aspect , but I still think its not necessary to be multiple protag, it can just be done with multiple characters perspective, just like a tv show would, but the MC is still the MC. Hell you can argue even MC has yet to have meaningful choice, making same level of minor ones while playing Olivia I don't feel they would add that much to the story.

Btw, Being a DIK has always done the same thing with multiple character perspectives and flashbacks, albeit to a lesser extent than this episode and only got the 'multiple protag' tag when Interlude dropped.

There's a lot of toxicity in these forums. I've grown accustomed to it now. Plus if we report a douchebag, we're the ones that usually get a warning. I've given up on it. I say what I want, when I want and take my lumps. Mostly people just humor me these days, as all I do pretty much anymore is joke around. I've learned that is pretty damn hard to have a real discussion without someone getting their panties in a twist.

So much drama. I liked the game after chapter 1 because it has great renders and showed potential but now I'm not sure what to think.

It's a bit too sad and boring. I love that it touches such heavy topics but as someone mentioned before it's a bit exaggerated. Mother's cancer is enough and Olivia's depression unbalance the scale a bit. Is there even a small room for some comic relief or something?
Too much Olivia for sure. I feel like I know more about her than about MC at this point. I won't get into the argument about her sex scene. I'll just say I'm not a fan and if dev said future ones will be avoidable than I don't understand why the one in chapter 2 isn't now.
It's reaaallyyy slow paced. Two chapters and not even two in game days passed.
Not many choices either.

MC: "I'm not mad"

Olivia:"Before you tell me you're disappointed..."
MC:"I'm not disappointed"

Seriously, he's too much of a good guy with no flaws, constantly reassuring everyone.
The story should circle some more around MC's job and how he gets the money. Is it legal? Is it dangerous? Not much happening there.
It's always risky when MC is already in a relationship. Now I don't want to break Samantha's heart because I have hots for Sarah.

Fingers crossed that it will get better.
Anyway, that's just my opinion. Good luck for the dev if they read this.
