A good game, but I wish he wouldn't waste time adding "the opening cinematic for Ch2".You must be registered to see the links
Hey everyone! Welcome to the first dev log for Chapter 2
Work on the second chapter has started and is going very well. Although scenes with Lily are my favorites because of their strong narrative, I'm glad I can change the setting for a while and work with something other than the hospital. Since most of the things are already designed and the script is written, the work is progressing much better and smoother. Of course, I still make some adjustments occasionally, but so far it's going great. Just like in the first chapter, the second one will introduce several new characters. We'll spend less time with some and more with others.
Over the last few days, I've been working on the first five scenes, which are a continuation from the first chapter. Some of them have already been rendered, and so far, I'm feeling really good about it. Even though I think I put a lot of work into the visuals of the first chapter, this second one seems even better to me (about 350 images)
I haven't been paying too much attention and time to animations so far. I'll probably leave them towards the end of the list of things I need to do. However, I've already started planning the opening cinematic for Ch2, which could be really interesting, but for now, it's just in the planning stages. I love animations and consider them a very important part of the game, even though they may not have been entirely convincing in the first chapter.
I've also started working on the 'rewards' for the gallery. We haven't had much NSFW content so far, so most players might not find them that interesting. However, if you enjoy my art and don't just want to see naked bodies all the time, you'll definitely enjoy it.
Changes for Chapter 1:
I'm kind of annoyed with how I set up the gallery. I think the images should have been divided by chapters, which wouldn't have been hard to do. It feels pretty disorganized the way it is now. I might add this when Ch2 is released, but we'll see. I'm not entirely sure if it would mess up the saves, and if that's the case, I won't touch it
However, let me know what you think about the gallery and if you found it chaotic too
I fixed a few typos that some players reported. It wasn't anything major, so I didn't think it was necessary to release a 'fix update.' It'll show up with Ch2
That's all for today. We've started off pretty well, let's see how it goes from here...
Thanks for the support, and stay safe out there!

have you ever seen game updated every month here?so what would be release date like monthly or one chapter at a time
There is one I play that is and another I play that is every 1-3 months so there are some but it's rare.have you ever seen game updated every month here?![]()
sure but none of them makes update containing several thousand imagesThere is one I play that is and another I play that is every 1-3 months so there are some but it's rare.
I can think of at least one that releases just about monthly with several thousand images.sure but none of them makes update containing several thousand images
Could this game just happen to be one of the games from a group of 35+ people equipped with 35+ GPUs for development? At least that's what they say about themselves on their website.I can think of at least one that releases just about monthly with several thousand images.

Nope, just one dude. It's in my signature, can't say the name because I don't want to go off topic.I don't believe what you saygive me name of game and I'll see for myself but I'm sure it's not true
I confirm, in 45 days he delivered 1631 renders in chapter 17 and in 40 days he delivered 1322 renders in chapter 18.I don't believe what you saygive me name of game and I'll see for myself but I'm sure it's not true

Once this is said, I was tagged so I'm answering by allusion, two different games shouldn't be compared. Different devs, different expertise, different hardware, and different time available to write/pose/render/translate/etc.
I haven't played Beyond Tomorrow, but it looks amazing.

Some Devs think they are entitled to a life outside of rendering and creating dialogue. They are clearly wrong (based on all the evidence presented on F95).Damn it Trop, what the hell are you doing here!? .19 isn't gonna render itself!
That's impressive, bro, really. But I already regret joining this discussion. Firstly, this is clearly derail us off topic, and secondly, I completely agree with you that two different games shouldn't be compared, especially in the game's on-topic thread. One person. As I said, two different games can't be compared. So I will answer the technical aspects of your post:That's impressive, bro, really. But I already regret joining this discussion. Firstly, this is clearly derail us off topic, and secondly, I completely agree with you that two different games shouldn't be compared, especially in the game's on-topic thread.
But since the topic has been raised, I still have to say that in my opinion, your game is a big trade-off between quality and quantity of renders in favor of quantity. I'm not trying to criticize this approach, and it's obvious that many players like it, as evidenced by the large number of followers your game has. It's just not my cup of tea.
And from what I observe, the higher the quality of the images, the more time the devs spend on preparing the scene and rendering. The developers I follow usually release one or two updates which delivers amount of content for several hours of continuous play. Some release frequent updates, once every 1-3 months, but these updates are very short, 15-30 minutes of play each, so in total they release about the same amount of content per year as those who release one update per year. To go deeper into this, I'll need to compare certain games and their metrics, and that's definitely off-topic, so I'll stop here.
It would be a Dream come true to meif they could make 1500 renders in 1.5 months at a quality level comparable to Beyond Tomorrow. But personally, I have not yet found such examples. So, either all the devs I follow are in cahoots, or there are some objective reasons why they cannot release such a big amount of content per month.
Where did you see cocky answers? I talked as a former player and subscriber in the part you quoted.your answers are getting little cocky don't you think?
you are nowhere even close to games like Summer's Gone, Beyond Tomorrow, Summer Heat or others that stand out visualy. you prefer quantity over quality that's clear. the only thing I don't understand is why you pretend to do the same job as them when it's not true. you brag about numbers but your game looks like it's from 2005. if you will do the same quality as these devs in the same time you write about then we can discuss
other than that i don't see anyone comparing any games except your fan tslojr
From Cambridge Dictionary, my gift for you:what exactly is ignorant about me having no idea there is game doing such large updates in such short time?
He didn't name a game. He respected the forum rules and directed you to his signature. You didn't, naming other games in this thread.you are the one who brought name of another game here not me
Do you support any game? I don't know, so I would put another example about something you pay for (if you are more adult than your words show).nothing from what i wrote is rude. his game is not on same level as Summer's Gone so why he should push idea into players that everything what takes more than 3 months to update is slow? let's compare it with games having visual quality as TPC do and not with games that stick to the visual top
