It looks like we're here again, huh? For the third time, heading into a new year with me and BT. And instead of this being just another short and empty post where I wish you a happy new year, I'd like to take a moment to reflect on some important events that happened over the past year. And looking back, there's really a lot of it

1. Release of Chapter 2:
Even though it was a fairly "controversial" release (or at least some Reddit folks made it out to be), I consider it one of the most successful updates BT has ever had

When I talk about success, I don't mean money. I'm talking about things like: a community that grew by roughly 350%. People who supported me more than I ever needed - not just financially, but especially morally, psychologically, and even technically (when it comes to hardware needed for development). And last but not least, the patrons and their active financial support, whether long-term, one-time, or simply within their means. Either way, the gratitude I feel toward all these people is something I'll never be able to fully express, because without them, there would be no BT - and no Dream

2. Release of Chapter 3 Part 1:
The second update of 2025, and for me personally one of the best updates so far. Not just content-wise - the entire creation process was very different compared to previous updates. For one, I was working with new hardware, I brought new testers into the process, I created things (like an interactive event) that I had never done before, and I returned to making music and writing, which were also implemented into BT

I could write a lot more about all of this, but it would be excessively long, and once again: many of these things wouldn't have been possible without you

3. Building a new PC:
Well, it took almost 3 years to finally achieve this goal, but it was absolutely worth it. While comfort, stability, and performance are an important part of my work, the main thing is all the new possibilities that opened up for BT, and all the limitations that were removed. Again, none of this would have been possible without you

The best part is that you'll see the results already in 2026 in the next update, and I guarantee you, there' s definitely something to look forward to

And finally, a few more words:
In short: 2025 was great

Yes, there are moments when I feel down, especially when I see some people and all the unnecessary hate they carry, even if I'm not always the target. But the positive things always outweigh the bad, and it was no different this year. It's hard to say what the next year will bring, but I believe it will be even better, with at least twice as many successes

And we're at the end, which means:

I want to wish each and every one of you a Happy New Year 2026! Less stress, more money, but most importantly, lots of health, because that's the most important thing we have ❤
