They are struggling to monetize the game which probably caused them to lose motivation. Also, generating the right image through Stable Diffusion is harder than you think.
Smart guy(y). You're absolutely right.
It takes about 2 to 4 hours to generate a single image with the main characters.
I can't just sit there and stare at the screen the whole time — I’ve got other work to do.
Everything’s being done in parallel. The project’s not abandoned

BRUH, and here I thought using Perchance to make a portrait for a D&D character free of too-obvious Cthulhu Hands took an irritating number of tries / amount of time. Perchance will render 3 or 6 images, together from a single prompt, in about a minute.

The game’s in development — but at a very slow pace
It’s just the two of us working on it, from different countries. Communication takes time too

In the past three months, only one person has supported the project
Not really a reason to quit our day jobs, right?
No deadlines, no promises

If we ever pause development, we’ll let you know

As of June 27, 2025 — we’re still working on it

No deadlines, no promises.
Thanks for your support

Good to know the project is still alive. I was scared for a second. Godspeed.

You need to figure out at least one monetization method that's more accessible than crypto, I'm sure you have more willing to pitch in than just the one guy.

Whats up with the influx of devs that start an idea/IP and then get frustrated after 1-3 updates because "not enough support....". The Adult VN/game scene is not some crypto pump & dump or get rich quick scheme lol

It takes time and effort to cultivate a supporting fanbase, there are wayyyyyy too many scammy and milking devs in the scene now. People don't want to support that kind of stuff, so they are more guarded with their wallets.
I've lost count of the games that get abandoned within the 1st year OR go on for several years just blue-balling and milking supporters.
