I haven't played friendship path, so i don't know if Max & Alice relationship is on the same level as war path.. but i think their relationship is already a little beyond just fapping to her nudity while she isn't even aware of it.

You both seem to forget the title of the Picture ("Nothing personal..."). Combine that with the picture from a few days back ("That's who did it...") and for me it looks like Max setting up Eric (on War Path or Pretend Friendship with Eric).
Eric wanks off to Alice in her room but he's not getting discovered, so Max has to leave traces and then when Alice thinks it was him, he offers to prove his innocence and after a couple of days shows them the picture as proof that it was Eric.

The photos are awesome. On the other hand, does this not mean that some of us are a bit old for video games? I felt like I was the same age as the dinosaurs.

Unfortunately, I remember all of them, and 10 cent phonebooths.
Youth today won't even be able to guess, why a pencil is shown with the music cassette. *sigh*
Stabilo pens were also good for this purpose.
