You must have used old saves (there are sometimes problems with this, I have reported it), errors also occur when you save in the middle of an event and then load the save. In normal play there are no problems, here is an example of this, in normal play no problems, saved and loaded in the middle of an event. I have reported it. It's not a problem in my eyes, so it doesn't need to be changed, EQGamer does it though.

I finished the new version today with the latest bugfix. I encountered this errow while trying to review the memory with Alice and the spider while massaging at the pool, under the option "Hide behind me"

If anyone knows, what is the source of these errors?

Edit: I tried to do the same with the fresh version from the op (I had a 6.5.05 upgraded to 09), and the errors were in the same files and the same lines but only said "name 'poss ' is not defined" .

Use the console and write
define poss = 0
or create a Fix.rpy file with this line (define poss = 0) and place the Fix.rpy in the game directory. This defines it permanently and you don't need to use the console anymore. It is an absolute trifle, it often happens in many games that the game developers add something and forget to define it.

this is not a one time thing. That happens often.
I'm not using other game engine or something.

If this only happens with BBAS, then change the render engine as Onlyfunz instructed and if that doesn't solve it, delete the game's folder and redownload it.
In either case, update your gpu's drivers.

However, if that isn't unique to bbas, there is a non zero chance that your computer is on its last legs. I would advise first to backup anything you deem important somewhere else and then stress test it. Artifacts like that usually happen ime either due to borked memory (your pc's or the gpu's) or due to a dying gpu. I would stress test the gpu first with something like unigine or furmark to see if artifacts exist still. Then move to test the memory with memtest86

Yesterday I played through the entire game from the beginning (Cunning Friendship Path) (version 0.6.5.09). It can be finished without any problems, there were only a few small things that I reported. It took me 104 days to finish it. Max only became debt-free on day 81 (the last loan was paid off). Today I will play through the war path. I promised to play through all the paths with version 0.6.5.09 from the beginning and look for bugs.
