This whole War situation is(apart from the tragic loss of human life) a big issue for this forum, as most adult games are from Russian Devs.. and even if peace talks succeed, the repercussions of the sanctions/diplomatic relations of countries involved will be felt for years to come... Hope everything turns to normal asap..

we were all thinking it, but it didn't need to be said, and certainly not framed like this. Conflict needs to end so people stop dying, not so we can get updates on our favorite porn games.

To be honest ... both. There are constantly conflicts with more death than we have seen here so far, but most of the time it does not affect us or happens ins some african country we could not find on the map anyway, so we don't really care. This one affects our way of life and that's why we care. We want to get back to normal. As far as war is far away, we don't have to think about it and can follow our very mundane interests. Yes, it would be great if all conflicts (not just this one) ended.

If you are thinking it, there's nothing wrong with admitting it.. the world could do with a bit more Honesty right now..
The Machines of propaganda are running full steam..on all sides..
And when i wished for everything to turn to normal i didn't mean porn.. there's more than enough of it on the internet to last humanity for 3 lifetimes.. besides, things have been pretty fucked up with Covid for 2+ years now.. this war is just the cherry on top... and Alexey has had his fair share of problems for so long now..

right, the same way if I play rape games, there's nothing wrong with going to the street and doing it? What we do or don't do defines us, not what we think even in passing.
Let's just agree that war needs to end right now. Going into detail on why, on a porn site where many devs are from the affected areas, is unnecessary at best and insensitive at worst.

Wow..that was a quantum leap you made there.. from thinking about how war affects porn Devs to going on the street and raping.. yes, that makes sense... but i won't go deeper into it..it's too late at night..let the people make their own conclusions..
Let's just agree that the priorities right now are Survival first, then how to make a living(or some extra cash)..Devs gotta eat too don't they?

Well, I would definitly not mind more scenes with Alice, but I suppose you meant both of them in the same room. Cheers to that!
Edit: Now that I think of it, there would be one cool scene, that involves both of them with Alice dressed only in a single shiny boot and Eric being on his knees at the hous door facing outwards, butt exposed (of course the camera not showing it, but Alice from the front instead). And since she is so small, she aims a bit too low and hits kicks in the balls - repeatedly - getting angrier and more violent with every attempt.
I'm so gald this game is different from the original, focusing more on the girls than on Eric. In the fan art he is often abusive and in the original he let Max bang his blindfolded 'landlady' without her knowing it was Max (and therefore without her consent). Even in this game on war path he blackmails Kira. Is that what his fans expect of him?

question, every time I download this game and run it, it runs fine for one time and one time only. The next time I start it, it stops after the splash screen loading bar hits ~90%. There's no error log, no crash log, log.txt doesn't show anything useful, nothing. Doesn't matter if I add the extra or other mods or not, if I unren it, even unrpyc it, run it through ren'py or as stand-alone, it only runs exactly once. Then some days later a fresh install might work again (rebooting doesn't make a difference), nothing really consistent :/
Have searched this thread but did not find much. Any ideas?

The only reasons I can think of are corrupted savegame/permanent files or write access problems.
1. go to your Appdata directory (I think %localappdata%), look for the RenPy diirectory and BBAS in it. Rename/delete the BBAS directory.
(edit: Also do that with the directors savegames in the game directory)
Try to start the game multiple times now, also create a savegame.
2. It could be, that in our game directory you have the rights to create files, but not to modify them.
Make sure you put the game on a drive / in a directory where you have full access to without needing admin privileges.
This is a long shot ...
3. Last but not least it could be a question of special characters in your username or game directory name.
I had a norwegian customer where I could create files in his profile, but not run batch files. His name contained exotic characters and at that time I didn't know that batch files had to be encoded in IBM850.
I don't know how RenPy handles such names, but it could be worth a shot.
3.1 Also if the total lenth of a file name including it's path and separators exceeds 256 characters, many programs have problems with it, so make sure that the parent path of the game is not too long.
