Looks like there were some updates posted on the Patreon, I'm not a supporter though so we'll have to wait for someone else to post them here.
Text posted on Patreon:

I didn't make the update in time and now I have a lot of farming to do at the country house.
Only now have I found the time and energy to hastily inform you. I can't predict an approximate release date for the update in this environment. Work on it is slow, so go to the minimum subscription levels. Sorry for the long wait for the update.

Real life responsibilities get in the way of working on an adult game again, as they often do.

We now go to the thread for live reactions from people who think devs should devote every second of their lives to working on their games while still being compared to scammers that haven't released anything in over two years.

Well, if they get payed a full salary for it, it can be expected that they do at least 36 hours a week (or 40 in my region, not including breaks).

But most of us here don't pay at all, so we are not entitled to expect anything. Once the game is finished and published, I'll buy it. If he had a production plan and estimated costs, I would have participated in crowdfunding. But I don't do subscriptions so until teh game is finished I just take what I can get and see no reason to complain about it.

Yeah if it's their full-time thing then it's a more reasonable expectation for them to be working on the games as much as possible, within reason like you said.

That's usually not the case, often having regular jobs on top of other "real life" stuff going on AND sometimes being a solo project as well.

Not like there's 15-20 people working 30-40 hours a week on this game.

Are you really surprised that (paying) customers are frustrated when a dev does not clearly communicate times frames?

If you can quote where people have been asking the dev to devote every second of their life to the game, that would be fun - but I think we both know that, generally, people haven't been too unreasonable with their criticism of the dev.

Communication could be better, absolutely. But thinking that no one here (the site itself not just this thread) thinks devs should spend every second of free time they have working on these games or they're just scammers milking their supporters is being willfully ignorant.

There are a lot of entitled pirates around here, it's not just supporters frustrated with lack of communication.

Anyway, enough about that, let's get back to talking about ways of destroying Eric!
Some of those videos from that new Zelda game of people torturing the Koroks give me ideas for what I'd like to do to him.

Oh, this is (probably) a LONG ways away but I hope Lisa's "first time" is handled differently than in Glamour (don't mean to bring that game up but it's really the only thing I have to compare it to right now). I liked that she was sneaky but come on now lol.
As long as it's not Eric...(Ann would be a real parent of the year if she lets her boss/boyfriend fuck her after treating her like she's still 12 the whole game).

She gets a little sex crazy in that game too, not that I mind but it probably wouldn't fit in as much with the BB version of her.

But as long as Max can have fun with her and Olivia (and them with each other) without Ann coming in and spanking them I'll be happy lol.

Nah, talking about story scenarios is defnitly more fun than the constant whining about the release dates.

Maybe in the next incarnation Alice should take a more active role in kicking Eric out - or in the groins.
I can think of some ways she could contribute, though none of them involve a strap-on.

There's always a way to involve a strap-on in a story, even in Bambi.
Oh jeez lol.

Maybe give her an hour with him tied up and when she leaves the room he has a look of absolute horror on his face, like when Caitlin fucked the dead guy in Clerks.

He will never recover.

Leave it up to the player to imagine what she did lol.

I don't think it's realistic to expect most of the devs of adult games to have any kind of a team unless they already have a very successful game under their belt earning enough money to justify it. If you're Dr Pink Cake (Being a DIK dev), sure you could certainly afford a full team. But most devs have nowhere near that level of support. How hard would you be willing to work for someone who could only afford to pay you $100 a month?

In fact most devs have a full time day job and are doing their little indie game as a solo side project. So even expecting 1 person to work 40 hours a week on it is not very realistic unless they have enough support to be able to quit their job and work on their game full time.

Now for the devs who actually HAVE quit their day jobs and are just doing their game development as their only income source, you would think they'd be strongly motivated to put their nose to the grindstone. Their paycheck is entirely dependent on the quantity and quality of their work. So yeah they could coast along and not do much, but that's going to be obvious to their fans pretty quickly.

I will say that I think most devs do their initial release too early. I think they'd get a better reception if their initial version was solid enough for people in their target audience to really be wowed by it. You want that first impression to really be a good one. After that there's kind of a happy medium you want as far as dev cycles. You want to do a release often enough to keep people interested but you want to have enough development time during each cycle to actually make significant progress. People will tolerate a long dev cycle if you have a track record of delivering a huge amount of content when the next update comes out. They won't if it takes you 6 months for an update that has hardly any content.

Being a DIK is actually a great example of a game with a really long dev cycle, but when that update does drop everyone knows it's going to be huge and it's going to be impressive.

latest is the 0.1 rebuild. But it's only a demo, basically. You get a lot more to play if you download the other one, which won't be continued however. I think it also includes the extra patch, but it doesn't hurt to download it.
