The answer to my question has probably been given above. However, my native language is not English and it is difficult for me to translate all the messages. So please understand.

I played this game a long time ago. I got to the part where the mother character brings her new boyfriend home.

Then the game was rebuilt. I played the game again at that time but no new content had been added to the game yet and the boyfriend character was not included in the game.

Now I want to start the game from scratch again but I have something to wonder. How far has this ''rebuild'' version come? Has it caught up with the old game? Has the boyfriend character been added to the game? Are there completely new scenes that were not in the old game?

It's different from the original, contains story elements and gameplay elements that were not in the old game, some stuff will be left out. Chapter 1 is almost finished and I'd say it focused on Alice mostly. Chapter 2 will be about the Eric conflict.

And no, I don't know if it's a dream sequence or not. Personally however I think it's real, Alice on the Couch progressed quite far.

it would be a dream more than likely, I don't think anything sexual will happen with anyone in the house until next chapter at least

Could be, but personally I would bet it's a dream. Maybe I missed some stuff in my previous play through but I did not see enough progress to justify a real scene like that in the latest version unless this is something like a post drunken party night scene.

Actually I would argue that his original (abandoned) version of Big Brother is superior to Glamour. The story in Glamour was basically non existent. There were things I didn't like about the story in the original BB but at least it had a story.
