If it's just introductory stuff that's fine, but I guess I'm more particularly worried that your plans are being affected a little to heavily by those wanting you to rush. Especially when you stated people may lack the patience for your original timeline of the fight stretching across v3, v4 and v5. By your own post it seems like cramming that original plan into v3 has now started to effect the implementation of animations and spying with cameras within the game. So I'm just hoping whatever your roadmap for the game continues to be isn't being dictated by a few trying to pressure you into moving faster, as that'll only hurt the over all quality of the story and scope of the features your trying to implement.

If the dev manages to be creative and add something that really adds to the game while maintaining its quality, I actually might pledge. It's still too soon for now imo.
to be fair the point you posted above about increasing the quality of the original game I have total confidence that this is definitely going to be the case, after supporting and speaking with the dev I’m 100% confident that this is going to be top quality unlike what we have seen before
it could have been just another continuation using mods but I gotta say that Aleksey90 has the right idea to remake the game from scratch using his own vision and creativity for the better, yes it’ll be a lot of work but as you can see from tech demos and teaser images, going on information already shared on Patreon we are going to get more diverse images, more clothing variations, more content, deeper plot and a genuine attempt to improve on the mistakes of the original... I’d say this is one worth supporting because the dev has shown already the creativity and intent to way improve on the original, in the fan art section for BB we even had a tease test of possible animation during sex scenes, this is a little bit far away for now but putting together quality of images, extra events and opportunities, listening to fans and supporters, possibilities of future animated scenes I’d say the support for this will be way worth it, I’m already sold and supporting but I’d advise anyone to keep an eye on this as I reckon it’s gonna be amazing.
I see a lot of posts previously worried about Eric but the dev is determined to do this correct this time (confirmed in a recent Patreon post by dev himself) that unlike the original there will be ways implemented to counter Eric at every opportunity and there will be ways for the player to slow him down and counter during the early game, despite how much I hated the Eric character myself I agree with the philosophy that he was a key component in the narrative of the early game, I mean wouldn’t it be so satisfying to reduce Eric to a smouldering pile of tears? Isn’t that more satisfying than just sending him away and not seeing the outcome like in the original, I’m sure the game will please everyone as it always had the potential but never realised that potential under the original dev before it was abandoned and rebooted in Glamour, despite the fact I like Glamour I still preferred the old game engine as the one in Glamour is a bit too clunky and convoluted, plus the way the polls for Glamour updates ended you get one Max update every three months which will take forever to complete.... at this rate this game will have loads of content before the reboot inside glamour gets properly going because this game isn’t far behind Glamour right now and it’s a few updates in.

The solution is to make NTR avoidable by correctly fighting Eric. Many people were angry at the original game because there was no way to prevent Eric from fucking Alice. So I think you should add some dialogues/events for Alice which result in maintaining her away from Eric (perhaps she can blackmail Max or sth). Idem for every other character.
You can prevent Eric from fucking Alice - Don't trade her for Kira. Also, Eric and Alice both say that nothing happened between them after trading her. Whether things did happen or not is up to your imagination, but the point is that you can prevent him.
TBH i didn't read your whole paragraph about Eric becaue i've never mentioned him in the first place. And i'm not sharing my opinions about him. There are plenty of people spinning round in many threads ont his topic already. So pardon me if i don't.

It's ironic that 2 years ago BB was dead, now we are getting this new story that already has many patrons so it has a big chance to be at least a very decent game, plus the original dev is desperately bringing it back too, so there is a great chance that we'll have 2 BB games on parallel. May be the first abandonment wasn't that bad after all.
BB was my first game so it will always be special but it ended in such an unsatisfying manner.
I played numerous mods and "remakes" didn't really feel like there was a lot in heart in it, just milking the name. Admittedly I have not played ALL of them so if there's one that has hearts, please reply!
The fact that Aleksey90 have been active in the BB Fan Art community gives me hope that this is a developer that truly wants to make complete version of BB.
My main hopes for this version
- Make NTR optional. I hate it, that's just me. In fact, in the original, I refused to do that webcam business because I can't stand strangers seeing "my family". I cheated for money instead. I understand people like it and have no issues with it being in the game, as long as I can avoid it. And I'm happy to work for it in order to avoid it, as long as it's possible.
- Eric is a needed part of the story but it was very poorly done in the original. The odds were too stacked against Max, Anne seemingly lost all her intelligence and Max couldn't achieve any small wins. As a result, it required an unlikely turn of events (or most people used cheats) to get rid of him. Would be much better if Max could slowly make small wins, eventually tilting the situation to his side and getting rid of him with a natural progression.
- Make Max less of a loser. Of all the MC, Max must be up there in terms of uselessness. Zero ability, zero personality, zero way to really improve him. He first get led by Eric, then Kira. He's just following his dick, seemingly because his brain gets no blood. I liked the online courses but then that stopped. It will be awesome to gradually transform Max into an Alpha male, and make it believable.
- Grind. I get grind but BB was famous for extreme grinding for blue-balls. Percentages (random) improvement is interesting but also make it possible to achieve something within a certain number of attempts. Would be good to make it possible to play the game without NEEDING a walkthrough.
Hopeful for this game to finally give us proper closure for BB.

But still Eric has more resources than MC, so in a way, he definitely has the advantage, and the NTR is optional, just much much harder to avoid in other games than just selecting a few options, timing and such, and if you focus on the other ladies, you might let Eric take advantage of the others. And the ladies starting a relationship with an outsider is more "realistic" than them immediately starting one with their own brother, sure, they love him, but not as a boyfriend's kind of love.

The original BB also lacked little gestures by Max to draw his family to him. Instead of just wagging his tail, a morning kiss with Lisa and Alice, or a hug from his mother, a great way to show his affection.
Agreed that Eric should start with a position of power. No issues with that.
The issue was that no matter Max did, he couldn't win.
The writer then wrote himself out of a natural solution and had to rely on some deus ex machina character to get rid of him.
As for realism, don't think that factors highly in most games.
Agreed, would've been awesome to see interactions change as the relationship develops.
Would be great to see some love between the characters (even if it's just text), instead of constant sex.

I'm not sure there should be substantial changes in the game, like avoiding ntr or changing MC character, the game is kind of cold and weird, but that is what made it special, changing the way the characters interact with each other may change the escence of the game, which is in my opinion the most important part. It's just a fantasy game, not looking for realism here.

Actualy the first version of BB 0.2 you lose the game no matter what you do.It's only a matter of time-1 or 2 weeks if you decide to side with Eric.In other 2 version of BB 0.2 the dev made it possible to not lose if you try the friend approach
Only if you play the final version of BB 0.2-BB 0.2.1.002
If you try the very first version you can even lose in less than 1 week.
