8th or 9th.. why does he do that? Just say it's gonna be 9th and get on with it. If it's on 8th then release it early and people will be happy for the "earlier than promised" release. Now people just gonna annoyed it's not 8th. It's all about optics.. Promise on something you're 100% sure and if you get it early you'd bring communities morale. Currently we got a lot of "srry, i'm sick" excuses and "maybe that, maybe then" deadlines. I understand people get sick etc, but you don't have to say the reason for delays.. If you keep saying you're sick, people will lose confidence in you and your ability to deliver.
Because he's trying to pretend that he's still working on this shit when it was ready a month ago.

Every hobby costs money. There are people who put ten thousands of dollars into Star Citizen and that one is far from being finished.
For a racing game or also fighting games (Dead or Alive) you can spend a thousands of dollars as well, if you buy all the DLCs.
I don't drink and I don't smoke, my girlfriend never "borrowed" my credit card, so I put my money in games. Hoever, I don't do subscriptions. Once a dev puts his game on GOG or even itch.io, I buy it.
I learned that the moderators here do take action, but you have to report a post to make them aware of a situation on the forum, then they are quite diligent and remove everything or at least most posts on the last pages that did not comply with the forum rules.
